Will influence points reset before the next battle?

I am just curious because our syndicate still has the same amount of influence points as at the end of the last battle. If not, the gaps between prizes would just increase, unless significant changes to battle strategies occur.

I think it would be more profitable for Gree to reset all syndicates for battle. Games need competition to prosper in the long run, and influence point monopolies would have a negative effect. It would be like jumping into your favorite FPS match and your frag count is what it was from the last match. Eventually, playing "catch-up" would be no fun, as well as sitting at the top of the hill with nothing to do.
