Right as this event is all about energy I'm guessing there's a lot of people who don't really understand it as unless you do missions there's no need for it I understand the gold refill is 1000 but what I don't understand is the length of time required to refill

I can't wait upto 12 hours and its still not fill...

I have 1550 energy... I'm as uk nation so not Gaining advantage of the 10% Iran bonuses...

If anyone can fill me in on any info will be so happy thanks :)

+3 energy every minute = +180 energy every hour

there are a few energy +1 units that would make it +4 energy every minute if you had any of those

My energy (Russia) loads 3 units per minute.
So 1550 energy in my book would take 517 minutes.
This would equate to 8 hours and 37 minutes.
Just to make sure and state the obvious: you can do missions before your energy is full...

Yer that's was just wondering on a time frame to see if its worth using gold for the last trident mission or waiting but don't think there is enough time to complete it in 3 days

Correct. Estimated energy needed to finish normal mode is 59,000 from Devin. At a regen rate of 180 per hour you would need 13.6 days to generate that much energy if you started with 0 or 13.29 days if you start with your full 1550. SO no you will not get the tank without gold. even if you had a +1 unit it wouldnt matter.

Here is Devins note on what it took him for normal mode:

"TOTALS FOR NORMAL MODE:
Gold Spent so far: 1160
Enery Used: Approx 59,000* Energy required
Levels gained: 1.75

*Each 20 gold energy refill gave me a full +1000 energy fill = 58,000 energy from gold, plus approx 360 energy from normal time-based regen (2 hours) = approx. 59,000 energy required in total."

I've done the first bit with gold just wondering if the 2nd part is achieved tho I'm on the last section in prestige mode

I've got the Iran bonus. Halfway through mountain pass and haven't started suspicious village yet. I've got 3000 energy (yes, it is beneficial for ME to have this much energy). I've spent no gold, obviously. I don't see being able to get very far with this before its over. I build 4800 energy per 24 hours. No boosts except Iran.

If you are on the last section....finish the LTQ.
Still plenty of time left. Use normal regen energy until a few hours before the end. Then gold finger it.

This is actually an event that could have overlapped with another event and given more time, like at least a week. Many people still may not be able to finish it without using gold but would have a better chance at finishing more of it and getting some of the better rewards. It depends on how quickly you can level up as well and what your energy level is. I was able to level up perfectly today in that I got my energy to zero and hit a mission that gave me exactly the XP I needed at the same time giving me the full regen. I will still not be able to finish it, but at least I know which missions I really want to try to complete to get me the best possible units thanks to what Devin posted.
