Seriously, $50, 2 days of no sleep and enough opens trying to get 10 that I should easily have a 90% chance of having it on one of my accounts by now. If that doesn't do it then what does it take? Am I supposed to just throw $50 at the game over and over early on until GREEd decides that I have paid them enough and some profit maximizing algorithm based on previous activity decides I'm allowed to get the prize? How much did you have to pay for the pixels?

One account is still in OT with 29 cases left to open. I've gotten other top prizes in OT, though never this long after the event. That is because I've never gone this long after an event without getting the prize (or crashing). Has OT been nerfed as well as the cash open option? Has anyone gotten #10 in OT? How long ago? Should I give up and just try and get 5 keys while I (maybe) still have time with cash opens before the war?

Oh, and while I'm at it, what is the meaning of 42?

Huh, I was wondering if this was possible. I tried this with the Blarney Keg Tap-- I got really lucky and got 9 on the first or second day, but I spent over a week in OT before concluding that it must not be possible to get the 10th item in OT because it was "special" or something (actually my game crashed, otherwise I might still be trying to get it). Got tons of terrible loot, though.

It's simple math. If you attempted to open the 10th case 100 times, there is ~50% you open the box, so you have 50 open boxes, and then you have a 2% chance of getting the 10th item each time, with 50 opened boxes that means you have only a 64% (1-.98^50) chance to get it.

To get a 95% chance of winning the 10th item (which still means 1 out of 20 people will be posting and complaining) you need to have opened 148 boxes.
