I have recently received numerous complaints from rivals about the fact that I robbed them. I didn't even steal a lot of cash from them. In fact, if my avatar could fart, each fart would pay more than the amount robbed from these whiney little babies. At $7.6 million per hour, the amount of cash that I robbed from these people is equivalent to a squirt of piss in the Pacific Ocean. For those who are (way) behind the learning curve, cash is not the only motive for robberies.

Crime City is not Sim City. If you do not like being robbed, you have two options to choose from:

1) Collect on time. Collected buildings cannot be robbed.

2) Sell your buildings. Your game might become significantly more difficult without that 40%, but you will never have to worry about being robbed ever again.

I agree, this happens occasionally in Modern War for me. I find a cash cow and I attack them, then they send me a message complaining and telling me to stop attacking them. I don't get it, why play a war game if you're not ready to be attacked?

The funny thing is, the people complaining to me for robbing them are whining about losses of less than $1000. Based on my IPH, it literally takes me less than one half of one second to earn that myself.

I like to hit players that are obviously stronger than me. I can usually get a good size payday from them compared to what I make. I know they're gonna hound me. That's ok, cuz if I got a hit in and you attacked me back, then I got a direct link. And I betcha umma figure out your collection cycles and be there waiting for ya!

I went so far as to bait someone after a robbery recently posting on their wall something to the effect of "please level up your lofts a bit more to make it worth my time in the future."

Not me. Seeing the stats wouldn't change my game play one bit. I know it's a weird concept for some players to comprehend, but just for fun, I've been trying to get my stats high enough to be able to win attacks and defend myself. I know, it's a really weird way to play the game and a big change from the "you should only attack people who you will lose to" or "I sold off all my buildings, dropped my mafia count, and never interact with the game or any other players" kind of mentality some players seem to think is the point of the game.

yeah, I agree with dudeman, if people don't like be robbed, they need collect their incomes in time and keep it on bank. Besides, CC have the advantage you don't have to pay to increase your vault like MW. So, don't do complains with other players if you lose money on attacks, blame yourself for not put it on bank as you should have...


ps: Thanks for all the players that forgot collect his buildings in time and the players who level up very fast making it possible for me attack/rob them easily, you make this game much more fun for campers like me.

I have a couple valor bonuses and farm low xp buildings like Laundromats, T-shirt stands, etc and people get all confused or ask why I keep attacking them (not like I look who I'm attacking when the Laundromats take all of 5 min or whatever to come due). Allows me to pseudo camp and complete boss events. Will be really fun when I drop a couple hundred thousand valor points when the high end units come available for me.

This is the style of play that generates the most whining on my wall. Many people think the only reason to rob others is for cash, and when they see some jerk with a very strong IPH robbing them for a couple hundred bucks they just go mental!

Yeah I have been hitting him for a long while, I would say over 15 levels. You are right it would be the right thing to do and bust him, funny thing is I find players like this all the time and take all I can from them. Now that I'm here on the forum I see that this sort of play is not tolerated by these players in the game, Guess it time to fill out a ticket.

I've seen so many hoods in 140s that are lvl 10 in NC, Office, etc why bother reporting? Last time I reported a lvl 145 with a casino I got the standard reply of hoping my ingame issue was resolved. Sent info including msgs left by me and others including Dr. Dengus...Waste of time and just adds to backlog of tickets.

My normal iph is about 200k. Doing just that brings me to about double my normal iph. Pick your targets well and hope for return visits!!!

I'm slightly doing this robbing the same cash cow for a long time specially when I can get 250k$ from them...:D this is part of the game, just get robbed 3-4 time, other was robbery I've lost, a grand total of 8 robbery lost. Fight result is about 10/1 (win/lost) so I don't consider myself as low player. Didn't got how to fastly raise my Iph since I read a guide from Trump Stamp. Good thing for my newly started syndicate. More money.

I rob like a hog. Without robbing - this game would blow. Money from my own buildings isn't half as sweet. I like the idea of robbing a low cash building if nothing else on offer - looking for a link back.

I've got someone on my newsfeed with a level 9 Nightclub and a ton of level 10 buildings (lofts, movie theaters, etc), and a $2 million + IPH. Despite making that much money, they still have a terrible defense, and so I've been collecting on their NC every day (and the idiot keeps robbing me back, I get $4 million from him, he gets $50K from me, so he's obviously not too bright).

Why would anyone think someone with a lot of level 10 buildings is cheating (even the ones that take a long time, like NCs), though? I mean, if you're going to cheat, why wouldn't you also beef up your stats a bit more, right? I don't know why someone would think that's a cheater as opposed to someone who spent a lot of time on their hood (or perhaps even used gold to upgrade their buildings faster).

And we all know reporting cheaters is a waste of time anyway. I reported someone with a casino at level 80 in addition to all the other obvious signs (over a thousand Doomsday frags, come on now), got the generic email back from support two weeks later, and yet I can still visit this players hood (and he/she is still leveling up). Ridiculous.

They do it because cash equipment actually increases your stats now, some are just as good as older gold items. If someone has their whole hood at 10's, and does not buy gold(inventory check), then they're probably cheating. They also do it because it's less obvious then 1k doomsday frags and it's a very easy glitch to do, a monkey could do it, less involved then other cheats. You can easily gain well over 100k stats with just money and event items. The players that i see doing it are around 80k and still have equipment to buy and that's at level 137, even better equipment will unlock for them later.

I have done rough calculations of some leveled hoods I've been robbing and just the upgrade times alone would take almost 4 years, factor in save time and you could double that, or more.
The gold argument is preposterous, talking about thousands of dollars to level a hood; 10 gold per hour to instant upgrade. So things like night clubs that take forever to upgrade would take a lot of gold my friend, 100 hrs left, there's 1000 gold..If they spent that much on gold to upgrade that many buildings then they're a little touched.

Top 25 will at least get stats out of it. Burning massive gold to increase IPH is crazy if you don't have a golden inventory. I'm not a fan of doing it even then, but at least it makes somewhat more sense in that situation.

Actually the whole game has changed. Having a high IPH pays lots now. You can buy cash items that increase your stats to an amazing figure. Many look at high numbers of the cash purchases as hackers playing but buy cash rather then gold at the moment if your a low player your much better of then spending on gold

The best possible attack stats for a free player (or somebody who bizarrely buys cash instead of gold) is 189k, plus event items. That is the absolute, 500x the best item in each category. That is literally 10% of the top gold player's attack stats, and significantly less than basically the entire roster of the top two syndicates (which, obviously, are basically filled with gold players).

If you don't believe me, read my wall. It is overflowing with people upset at just how uncompetitive these cash items are.

I went to a hood and saw two NC's at a nice level. Players profile had him at twice my stats. But he had many level ten defense buildings. I had 40 stamina and I really wanted a crack at them NC's. figured if I got in at least one hit, I'd be satisfied.

I gave it a crack and bam!!! Success. His stats on profile were 42k def. battle defense was 20k. More my level. I went 4/4 on his NC's. robbing a few mill. I then went on to attack the rest of his buildings, even his minor buildings. Hoping he'd be mad enough to attack me back. I may leave a church or a loft uncollected just to tempt him.

The circumference of my scrotum increased ever so slightly after this attack.

It's quite simple really, collect your buildings on time or get robbed. Plus it's a game so just go rob someone you are able to beat, there's plenty of them around if you keep looking :)

I think that's a little high for cash items. I think the highest you can go with cash with just 500 players is 119.5k/143.5k. You'd need to max out the cash vehicles and all the other respect items to get to 179k/200.5k.

I'm a non-gold player at level 131. At the moment I'm kicking ass with robs and attacks. I probably put in more hours than most and have (in my opinion) invested well in cash items vs building payout.

My question is this: at what level do you feel the game becomes uncompetitive for non-gold players?

Why? Because you didn't collect your buildings? If you don't collect your hood it's not just hackers you have to worry about, anyone could have taken your cash.

Hackers suck, but I have no sympathy for you. If you don't collect, it's your fault.

You're always going to get attacked. Even if you're diligent, you're probably going to get robbed. If it doesn't take the competition out of the game now, it won't after you get bigger either.
