A player in my faction is trying to reduce their ally count but the game won't let them. Anyone else ever have this issue happen to them?

yes, several people have reported it. supposedly once you go above like 1500+ allies, the system gets a little crazy & you'll end up with several ghost allies that the system counts, but you can't visit, can't remove, etc.

you have to send in a ticket to support & have them clear them out for you.

Yes, there was/is a bug if you went over 1000 allies at any point. I suffered from it a few months ago.

I am having that issue at 500 allies for the last 3 days. The ally list freezes my whole game. I just dont go there anymore.

I just sent my 2nd support ticket to gree on removing Ghosts and Grunts from my Allie request. I sent the 1st request 2 weeks ago. How long does it take gree support to respond?

It's kind of funny that players think about reducing allies once they're already beyond 1000.

Just think about it from a standpoint other than your own.

Perhaps some people didn't take this game particularly seriously up until recently. Perhaps they didn't understand the mechanics of the game. Perhaps they didn't really care. Perhaps they are very popular and everyone wants to be their friend. Who knows?
