Question About faction WD rewards

I read that faction bonuses are lost when you leave a faction. Are the faction bonuses the units that are offered to the top factions or are these faction bonuses separate from the units? I'm a new player so don't go crazy if this is a dumb question hehe

It would suck to lose those nice units if you lost ur faction

You keep the units but lose the bonuses that were purchased in the faction.

You keep the units and any boosts the units have.
But if the faction has a +10% infantry defense bonus that stays with them. But if you join another faction you do get to use their bonuses.

It's not a dumb question, in fact it's a very common one.
