Buying cash with cash

I'd like to know why it costs $100 to buy 20 mil in game money?? That seems like an awefully high price to pay for only 20 mil. I've seen members with IPH over 250k, that's 6 mil a day. So in 3 days you make what costs $100 of real money. Also with faction bonuses costing 300 mil plus what's 20 mil going to do?? Gree should increase the amount of game money you get for $100. I'm thinking 75-100 mil would be more in line with paying $100.

The formula seems to be IPH * 120

Upgrading the highest level buildings costs billions of dollars. The only reason IPH is useful for gold players is because of faction bonuses that can be purchased. At least that's my take on it. Otherwise it's strictly for bragging rights.

Either way I wouldn't pay $100 for 1,000,000,000.
Although with our last in faction event we had a cheater (by cheater I mean for OUR event) who bought money to score more CCP's (Charlie Cup Points.)
