I can put aside the headaches for the midtown battles starting early. Gree did good by me by offering 40% off gold. Then the Ballistic case event was all off schedule. I didn't mind so much. I didn't mind Bernie Greenback being off schedule. And this subsequent Bearer Bonds case event starting early.

Now I'll say that the bonds case event got me a little upset for ending as abruptly as it just did a few minutes ago. But I can even overlook that.

What I can't overlook, is I paid for a $50 bank truck of gold two Monday's ago. I didn't get the gold. I paced tickets to support. I finally got an email from support asking me if the issue had been resolved. It seemed like a generic attempt at some attention to the matter. Possibly to fish out if the inquiry was serious enough. I replied saying that I hadn't received any gold yet. I got a reply shortly thereafter instructing me to get a refund through iTunes. What a load of baloney.

I paid for that bank truck with a $50 iTunes gift card that I bought. So I won't be getting a refund, only a credit to my iTunes account. This is horrible.

I would have likely spent a lot more money for gold since then if the transaction had gone through. But if Gree is going to make me go through iTunes, then I'm finished with this game.

Keep the faith. I fought with support for 20 days to get gold I had purchased and not been credited.

Ask for transcripts of all purchases and expenditures they have on file.

I can pursue this with Gree even though they've told me to take it up with iTunes?

Yes. Subject line of your issue report... "STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY GOLD"
Message... "I paid you $50. The money has been taken from me. Give me what I paid you for before I take it to small claims and make $500 off of you."

Is a reset account worth $500? They have you by the cajones once you give them money. Think of it like a wishing well. Your wish might not come true. You can climb down there to get your money back, but it is dirty down there.

Three choices.

1. Send another ticket
2. Complain to iTunes about their practices
3. file in small claims for essentially free. (document first)
4. maybe they'll read this post and fix your problem. Maybe we'll both be banned. See you on the Syndicate forum :)

I'd go with 1 for as long as you can... or until the war when we don't have your gold to help get us to #250, then I'd go with 2 And 3.

Haha, what law school did you go to? That's freaking hilarious. I'd like to know this secret court that awards 10x the value of a claim and let's you file for free, I think I'd be the most successful lawyer in the world.

sorry to hijack the thread but someone in our syndicate mentioned if you buy X number of vaults per month gree gives you some bonus gold, and maybe a hug? Anyone heard of that? I searched around but didn't find anything.

I searched around but didn't find anything.FYI - the program is much worse now than it was before. It also doesn't work, correctly. I'd advise holding off for at least a month until they fix it. I would think the current mess will take at least a month to sort out just from tickets, alone.

Our bonus program has grown in popularity. In the interest of improving the process we've made some updates. The changes will become effective for claims processed after April 1st, 2013. All players who have signed up and qualify for the program will benefit from the following improvements:

*** We will now include all in-app purchases for gold/gems or virtual cash/gold. This means that we will also include purchases less than $100 of in game currency. This will give you more purchasing flexibility.

*** Players will AUTOMATICALLY receive their qualified bonus once per calendar month and are no longer required to send us an email to request the monthly bonus. The bonus will be given within the first seven days of the month. The bonus amount will be based on the previous month's activity. For example, in April, players will receive a bonus based on the March activity. Please note: since this is an automated process bonuses can only be processed during that period and cannot be processed until the month has ended. As a result of this change we can no longer combine purchases made on separate accounts/games.

We will continue to improve the program and update you as we do. Below is the updated guideline.


We have a special program for people who would like to purchase larger in game currency quantities with a bonus. App stores limit the packages we can offer, but we are willing to bonus players if they meet certain criteria within a calendar month. The Bonus Program consists of Gold/Gem bonuses and virtual Cash bonuses.

Please read these guidelines carefully. By enrolling and participating in the program you agree to the guidelines of the program.

For the Gold/Gem Bonus program, we are willing to give you the following for Crime City/Modern War Gold and Kingdom Age/Monster Quest Gems purchased within a calendar month.

$500 - 2500 Gold/Gems

$1000 - 15000 Gold/Gems

$2000 - 50000 Gold/Gems

$5000 - 125000 Gold/Gems plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to a crate item.

$10000 - 250000 gold plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to an event item.

Only one bonus can be obtained per month, and will be automatically granted once per month. All in-app purchases will qualify for your monthly activity. Bonuses are applied to the highest tier met. For example, if you purchase $700 (7 Vaults of Gold or Mountains of Gems) in one month, you can receive a bonus for the $500 tier. If you purchased $4000 qualifying packages, you can receive a bonus once for the $2000 tier.

Purchases on game accounts cannot be combined to reach tiers. Each game account/character is considered separately.

There is a separate Bonus Program for Cash (referred to as Money in Crime City /Modern War, and as gold in Kingdom Age/Monster Quest)

Like the Gold/Gem bonus, only one bonus can be obtained per month, and will be automatically granted once per month. All in-app purchases will qualify for your monthly activity.

The bonus tiers are as follows with the continuation of the percentage bonuses that you would have received if we were able to sell each tier as a single package:

$500 in a month = 65% bonus

$1,000 in a month = 75% bonus

$2,000 in a month = 100% bonus

$5,000 in a month = 130% bonus plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to a crate item.

$10,000 in a month = 150% bonus plus one item specially modified for this program. It will be equivalent to an event item.

The bonus amount that you receive will be calculated based off of the most recent amount of Cash that you received in order to calculate the base amount of Cash you receive in your game (the $5 value). This is due to the fact that the amount of Cash/Gold that you receive when purchasing a package is relative to your income per hour as well as other factors such as your game level.

For example if you received $150,000 for a Vault of Cash as your most recent Cash purchase, here is what you’d receive per tier:

$500 in a month = 75,000 bonus Cash added to your account

$1,000 in a month = 250,000 bonus Cash added to your account

$2,000 in a month = 1,000,000 bonus Cash added to your account

$5,000 in a month = 4,000,000 bonus Cash added to your account

$10,000 in a month = 10,000,000 bonus Cash added to your account

Purchases on game accounts cannot be combined to reach tiers. Each game account/character is considered separately.

We can only provide bonuses for the same currency. For example, we cannot provide a Gold bonus for Cash purchases nor can we provide a Cash bonus for Gold purchases.

We start tracking for the Bonus Program (both Gold/Gem and Cash) in the month that a request or inquiry about the program is first sent to support. Please note that the Bonus Program operates on PST and PDT. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to count months previous to enrolling in the Bonus Program. These restrictions are in place for record-keeping purposes.

Please note that this is a program that could end or be altered at any time.

i sent in one last ticket to Gree yesterday after they told me to take it up with Apple. Today I sent Apple an email. within 20 minutes of sending them an email, i got a response from Apple saying they were going to credit my account.

Now, I could have been lucky and got a rep just happening to be checking tickets at the time. or it could just be the difference between apple and gree customer service.

either way, i find it hard to believe that the process is that quick. How could apple just blanket say yes? There had to be someone at gree telling apple to credit these certain accounts when they email. i dont know what it is. but i do have an opinion...

last month i had a purchase issue and gree was extremly quick to resolve the issue. end of the fiscal quarter and all... kinda like its crunch time, all hands on deck. but now, a new quarter, lets take our time and drag our feet.

What really irks me is: if Gree was just going to tell me to go to apple for a refund, they waited quite a while to tell me. If they would have just told me right away, I woulda done it, and even bought more gold since then. I missed to top prizes for events because of this.

But i'll give gree a second chance since they are 50/50 with me.

50 gold? Yeah, I can be bought off. Rather cheaply it would seem. I'm back on the GREE bandwagon. No shame. I just bought another bank truck of gold and got me two churches.
