I have $50 in my MasterCard gift card and when I try to buy the $20 gold pack it says "your purchase could not e completed, please contact iTunes support" and then it says "oops! Your transaction didnt go through. Please try again!"

Any ideas on how to absolve this?

I never jailbroke if that helps. Also this is in Canada

I would make sure all the information is correct and that the credit card is properly linked to your iTunes account. Not sure if there are any regional issues with Canada. Your safest bet is to always use iTunes gift cards. Accepted everywhere iTunes is!!!

I had this exact error/popup the first time I wanted to purchase some gold. Couldnt buy checked info was correct. Thought ok, saved me some real money and didnt buy the gold. Tried a few days later thinking wont work and suddenly my purchase went through.

So cant say how it was fixed, just saying had exact same problem went away on its own. (iPad)

This happens quite often, the bank usually calls up and asks "did you try to purchase something at XXX dollars just now with your credit card"

Im having the same issue as we speak, never had this problem before, and i dont buy massive amounts of gold ???

At least its not just me then.

I think it might actually be a problem with I-tunes this time rather than gree. If I try to edit details it my i tunes settings -card expiry date etc...it wont let me just says try again later.

someone somewhere really doesn't want me to have that executive Coupe.

Did it resolve on its own or did you contact Itunes support, I'm still having the same problem.

On its own i just loaded it up and tried to buy some and it worked

Same for me on Android, I was charged for it and the gold was there for a second, went to open a case and it was gone. Nothing back from support yet. Sitting on 8 of 10 for last 2 days less the time the event ended early
