Since day 1 I have refused to use any storyline armor, for any reason, & i dont mind at all getting them from DP chest. People underestimate the value of these armors as enhancers.

I really wish the flamehunters was the plus version, but I am going to level up the normal version anyway. It has one-element bonus against infernal/half-dragon and two-element bonus against dark prince/admiral and has no bonus AGAINST it from those four. Should be an interesting matchup in the arena. Too bad it looks hideous, IMO.

on DPC there are + version in all obtainable armor except Nemesis, well lately they release one + version for a limited time on half dragon, but thats all

Don't think it's an update, there should probably be a plus version for all armors (except for nemesis), just a matter of whether or not the spreadsheet has been updated or not. Molten shroud+ stats are in the spreadsheet.

I don't have exact numbers but I feel I've had more luck opening DPCs 1 at a time instead of 11 at once. I've never received a nemesis or 3 star and above armor when I open 11.

Yeah, the DP chests have really low percentages of getting anything good. If you are looking for something other than nemesis from the DPC, then don't even bother opening it because the odds of you getting exactly what you want is extremely slim. I think the best strategy is open them only to get Nemesis, because the odds of anything else is super low. That way, when you don't get your nemesis, you still *might* get a special armor as a surprise ;)

New Epic Boss - so it's always best to try out DPCs for nemesis, and I got it for the 1st try. Thank goodness as I'm running low on keys and gems:)

I would suggest you do the epic boss with all the force you have. Try to get some enhancing armors, crystals or keys even. Save your gems to get nemesis but you can use friends to take down the boss.

That makes 49 chests with no *** and 1 ****.
Since I have been keeping track, I have opened ~150 Dark Prince Chests and I have gotten only 1 ultra rare or legendary in that span. You can get the great armors when you open the chests, but the odds are clearly very very low. This is like playing a slot machine at $2 to $3 a spin. It is pretty expensive and the odds are pretty long. Keep that in mind when you think about spending money on these things.

Personally, I think the odds should be kept the same, but that the price should be much lower..... $3 is a really steep price to pay for what is essentially 24 to 50 enhancement points and an off chance on a long shot that you end up with a cool rare armor.
I like that we can't simply buy our way to the top, but I don't like that we have to spend a lot of money to get not very much. I think these chests should be 10 gems with the prize structure the way it is now. Maybe go 2, 5, 10 for the 3 levels of chests.

If you can afford it, do 11. Free 20 gems basically. Wait for the next x3 chance armor imo. Opening 1 at a time *seems* to have better drop rates, but I think that's the human mind playing tricks. Poopster got 2 legends in one batch, I got infernal & swamp in one batch.

Spot on comment, the only way that'll change is for the majority of players to boycott the gems. Untill that happens GREE are still making money on a very low % and will think that us, the community are happy with the odds.

Why would you want to do that? Better odds for armors in the dpc would mean more people with the best armors in game. The dpc is supposed to be a gamble, and right now, that's what it is. From what I can tell, it's not impossible to get the good armors, as from what I could tell, there are forum members who've managed to get the good armors.

I'm actually quite content with the dpc at the moment. Though the chances of good armors are low, it does prevent too many players from getting them.

I guess the whole point in having the nemesis in the DPC is so that only those who have gems, or high leveled players can get the nemesis. It makes sense because if not everyone is going to have the nemesis and bossing becomes very much less of a challenge. I do believe that the thing that could be changed is the number of times you can get nemesis though. I mean, i've seen people who open a huge number of chest in one go and end up getting a whole lot of nemesis. It would be great if maybe after 2 nemesis armors, you won't get anymore nemesis armors when opening the dpc.

Hmm I guess that makes sense. At least when you get 2 star armors you can still use them for enchancing haha.

I got my nemesis armor on 1 chest. Lol, but you see I've only opened the dp chest 4 times since it was made. And the last I opened it was a month ago. So this week, I decided that I was so frustrated about my progress on farming this weekly boss (I was barely on 25 on the fourth day) so I bought forty gems. I spent 20 on arena energy and other 20 on Dpc and well I got the nemesis. And I love the nemesis! Also now I'm on 43, aha. I don't know if opening the chest at midnight made a difference becuse I did open the chest at that time.

There is no need for nemesis this week, most high levels probably have regalia+ and or darkdark prince + which would just beast this boss. I'm personally using a maxed half dragon and made it to round 18 with just my main, had to go back in r15 to finish off. But players who normally can't get + version of boss armor can still get quite far if they have their living flame maxed.

I just opened 44 dpc (for "only" $80 due to sale) and REALLY cleaned up, thanks to the 2x chance to win *** and **** armor. At least 1/4 of my chests were really good armors. The highlights:

That' s a load of garbage you got man :/ Those legendaries really are legendary to come by... And even if you happen to get a piece, it' s probably the non-plus version. Look at the number of plus version armors you' ve gotten out of the 88 chests, just a few...

I miss the old way of Chance Chests, back when they had 2, and it was more cost-friendly.

2 chests, silver and gold, and the gold was 10 gems each, and it had the same stuff you get in the DPC now.

Did 22 chests between me and my daughter. No legendary, no pluses. Not sure about "ultra rare" but certainly nothing that isn't just enhancement fodder. Oh, excuse me, one normal wicked wraith and one nemesis (which is useless at this point). But then again, we did it mostly for the four free fire fusion boosts (our combustion armor is almost ready for those).
