Ok, after a little more decompression and a lot of awkward laughter, I'm ready to post the light-hearted thread about the last seven days. Right now I'm farming a player named "Oink" with my new Doomwind Dragon directly following one of the wildest cyber hog ride marathons I've ever been a part of. Kinda apropos of the wet snow, y'know?

So anyway, we've got a thread going on our guild forum with the juiciest snippets of conversation gathered over the course of several days, and I thought I'd share some of my absolute favourites with you all. Special thanks to AK-Manin for catalyzing this thread!

In no particular order:

"I'm gonna pound I'madyke a few more times."

"Wait, are we talking about scalping rainfro pubes?" (unrelated to first quote)

"I think Atomius has learned a valuable lesson from these 5k losses in one battle round."

Please post some of your own! ;)

I am in a rather small guild, but the thing that made me laugh when logging in the other day was this note...

"What the??? Stop declaring %$^*ing war Naomi when no one else from the guild is online!!!"

That person declared war six times, cost us four losses, and the other two were only averted when two of us just happened to log in and fight in the final few minutes. Is it strange that I no longer see Naomi in our members list?

My favorite:
welll I can't post all of it here cuz GREE staff might not appreciate the reference to barbie dolls, s e x y avatars and inflatable rubber women...but the rest of the post was:
Meanwhile we lose to rivals 24-40K below our defense. And our conquest points are more random than a Fortune 500 company employee drug test.

One of our members saw this gem on a wall whilst raiding, and shared it in guild:
Our citizens plead for the bloodshed from DW to stop! Lord....had his tongue cut from his mouth by the ever so dastardly (name changed to protect the apparently not so innocent DW member) MMMMM of DW. Our priests did not have the proper antidote to cure him so he remains mute. I believe these horrific events leave him humbled; yet ever so more angry the same.

Still not sure what it all means....but am still laughing.

Yeah a certain team member who shall remain nameless was inebriated and had an itcy trigger finger even though a certain team was trying to avoid FUN and told everyone to not declare. Oh and it was one of the last 6 battles of the game....we still love that person...not so much in the moment but it is funny as all hell now

We (dw) were fighting dragon lords. My best man at my future wedding was on the other side and you know I had to sneak in one attack on him even though a better target was available.

I know I may be bias, but my favourite quote was when some of our players went to play peek-a-boo with some members of RK who changed their names to '1' at the start of the guild war.

The comments on players profiles ranged from, peek-a-boo NAME! Lol!

Lol, it had me in stitches for quite some time and was hilarious to watch lol
Needless to say it didn't take long or them to change their names back ;)

How did we drop from rank 48 a few seconds before the war was over to 51 right after the war to 52 a day after the war. Next time we should just spend more gems at the end since the leader boards freeze.

Next time if we got them we should just spend them.

Lol we had over 1500 gems left collectively but decided to save it cause for the whole hour the Rival we were fighting in the last war right at the end of the event was showing no points gained at rank 50. We were at rank 48, we decided to save our gems since we were 128k ahead. Our Rival ended up at Rank 41 and congratulations to them.

We beat on Atomius pretty mercilessly, too.

One of our female members had a good match-up against a player named Dyke.....

she asked " i wonder if she has anything good to offer"...... the laughter that followed contined for quite a while.

Lol, I do truly appreciate the emotion & laughter ours & other Guilds experienced during the war... The jokes & planning between battles followed by the rapid chatter during each battle...I even remember the feelings as we were matched up w FUN, lol. I wouldn't have changed any of it!!!

Ive been on family junk break since Christmas - and of course the major huge guild upgrade has happened meantime. Its been hard to motivate myself to get back into to it. I feel like the wallflower at the ball. But this was the awesomesauce.

Just started a baby guild here but I can attest to this one...! Hitting the attack button at 4:30 am...that "power nap," no, waste of time. Worse - don't try the power nap in mid war. You'll find yourself in a puddle of drool two hours later with fifteen minutes left to go...

:) Can't wait to get our act together over here. :)

Edit: clarification: I can attest from other games the experience of the multi-day overnight attack marathon (plus being leader of battle on too of that. O_o )

I gotta say I was a little skeptical about the quality of this thread when I read the title, but I rather enjoyed the anecdotes from the other guilds during the 5-day marathon of insufficient rest.
