Additional reward ties in the new syndicate update:

Top 50: Infiltrator Mask 1500/2538 +5% attack from Armor
Top 1500: Garrote Blade 395/350

These are good additions, the low tier was way too large before and this also makes the top more intesting.

Agree Teo. I wish they had the top 50 bracket on the last battle. Top 100 was way too large. We could have stopped playing 3 days in and made top 100.

I'm surprised Gree doesn't add even more levels. Top5, Top 75, Top 750. Whenever there is a chance to move up a tier for a syndicate, the odds that syndicate spends gold to do so increasing exponentially.

Those syndicates that were in the 45-60 range probably didn't spend any gold the last few days, if there was a Top50 prize, they may collectively spent $1,000s on gold.

If you look at the top10 standings, 4th had 13.6m points and 10th had 12.8m points, how much gold do you think would have been spent between those 7 syndicates if there was a juicy top5 prize?

Good on you GREE. Pretty sure folks out there will appreciate it.

There's also the problem with stat inflation and power creep with adding new tiers. If they dilute the value of the items you're winning too much, there's no point in winning. The top 3 or so syndicates don't really care about the stats of the items they win, and they'd fight it out for an extra laundromat, but to the rest of us it makes a difference. If they give an extra prize to the top 50, you've got to remember that 3000 people will probably be getting it. There will be a marginal increase in gold spending for those around level 52-48 and are really concerned about getting that prize, but there might be a marginal decrease in spending for those around level 27-23 because they're LESS concerned about only dropping down to the top 50 instead of getting top 25.

Just saying the economics aren't quite as simple as "more prizes = more spending."
