I was playing MW last night when my phone battery turned to 10% battery left. So I went to charge it, as I plugged it in I realised that it wasn't charging the cable was broken WTF it just had to happen to me in WD and when my faction is in desperate need of players to stay in the top 1000 due to inactivity. And now that my phones dead I'll be getting the boot due to inactivity

The cable for the iPhone 5 is the new style small connector. Only the new iPad Mini and latest iPad have these connectors the 4S uses the older style connector.

Odd that you fubar'd your cable they don't seem that crappy, did you spin it around since it goes in both sides? Perhaps pick up some of the iPhone 5 to iPhone 4 adaptors they are dirt cheap out of Hong Kong think the last batch cost about $4 each including shipping and work fine.
