Is my time in KA over?

A while back I got recruited by a top guild (likely top 3) which got me pretty excited. But after spending mountains of gems on LTQ'S and bump my stat to 400k I still got booted from the guild days before the battle because I can only afford 1 vault on the war. Obviously its too late for me to join a top 10 guild or even top 25 now. So I'm left thinking is KA pretty over for me?
I have bd 10, all the dragons I need, bought all weapons/ armors i need, and all boost buildings upgraded (ie i can no longer raise my stats camping). I can continue on LTQ'S but its just futile since it gives lots of exp also and Ill be missing out on the conquest and will just be left more behind or get more into whale territory. So what is there left for me to do other than get a second job and spend it all on gree gems?

Top spenders are going to have their @$$e$ licked by all the others. It's just the social hierarchy in this game. If you want respect then be prepared to spend. Otherwise be prepared to lick @$$.

Yes true. I will take that advise. I guess for me the game has been fun for the feel of upgrading/moving foward..but I'm feeling as if there isn't anything worth upgrading anymore..

Well you took what I said the wrong way. I certainly don't respect the kind of player who thinks being mighty in KA automatically earns them respect and the right to bully others. I base my respect on how players treat others. I'm just giving my observation of how the social interaction works here.

Have a look at some of the threads on this forum. Not just KA, but across all 4 games. There's no denying the paid players have built up some kind of 'reputation' and are recognized to have some sort of special 'expertise' in these games. They are often consulted for 'pro-tips' when really it was the gem spending that got them that far. Shame many people cannot see past that. But at least you can, so it's all good ey?

Don't give up now! Sounds like you have pretty good stats. I'm sure even at this point you can still find a guild that will want you. Maybe not top 3 but even top 10 or top 25 you will still get some decent prizes.

Rethink the game. Do you enjoy it? Do you enjoy the social side of guilds? If yes, and yes... Then find another guild! Will you be top 3 in your new guild, who knows? Is there more to this game than top 3? YES!!!

Get yourself into a guild for this war, on the understanding that you may not stay. Someone will be glad to have you short term, as they'll likely be a lower stat guild. During the interim between wars decide if you want to stay with the guild you found, or move on with a good war under your belt and some stats with screen shots to prove it. If you're up front about it, no one will slight you for moving up to perhaps a top25/50 guild who is ready to kick out inactive or uncooperative members, or is opening new spots.

This is a chance to find a good bunch of players who love this game, love people, and love life. They exist, trust me.

Yeah, I went and reread the post. You should totally just join another guild, if you miss one war, it's ok, the top three stats don't make that much of a difference in stats, if any; and there must be literally 100 guilds out there that'd be happy to have you. I know I would, but we probably wouldn't meet your expectations. I feel your pain, but honestly, you wouldn't have fit in up there, they have no problems dropping 50 mountains on a war, and don't bat an eye. It sucks, but there are other guilds.
And I'm sorry about jumping down the other dudes throat, just had a ****ty day and I get annoyed at people easily to begin with.

Well Intrance, there's one thing you have to understand. There's no end to this game. I say this not because there is a lot of depth in KA but because of the potential to perpetually increase your stats. This game is pretty one dimensional. The only factor that separates you and other players is the gear-score.

When you realise this, there's no incentive to spend. You're just buying fake numbers with real money. Whoever has the biggest fake numbers wins. Nothing more to it.

I play very leisurely to kill time while commuting or when idling at work. I'm mostly a camper. It's quite fun to build up stats when the pace is gradual. But once you use money to buy stats, it defeats the purpose really.

This is the answer. I read the posts from guild people like FUN and AOC etc with bravado and braggarts try to demand respect. But I think they just fools waste their money on silly ios game buying not-real monies etc. Is not important and not worth anything. So treat it like it is - small diversion from real life matters. A fool and his money are soon parted.
