Player response has been underwhelming, and in some cases, people are whining.

Okay, it is what it is.

If LTQ ever rears its UGLY head in MW again, people will play it, or ignore it.

You do know you aren't required to do everything Gree offers, right?

So, if another LTQ ever appears in MW, I'll IGNORE it.

No need to whine about it.

No need to praise it.

If the unit loss wasn't so extreme it wouldn't be bad The unit loss alone make it unplayable unless your army is indestructible. Mine isn't so in going to ignore

Nothing in life is free. The losses were worth getting the health regen modifier. But it wasn't worth it to continue after getting that unit.

My units are terrible so I actually gain attack and defense by the time I stop playing. I'll probably carry on as far as I can before I have to use gold and then just sit out after that.

I stopped after finishing 14 for the health regen, and I'm happy with the event as a result.

I'll wait and see for the sweet spot in the next one and do the same.

I play to reward myself, not punish myself.

They were definitely hot back in the day, but I can't go with the Beatles analogy. There were other much more popular and influential groups before them. (NWA, Public Enemy, Run DMC, etc) Groups that still continue to influence both rap and pop culture even today. Not to mention with names that the "youngsters" in here would recognize (even though they may not know they were in these groups...Ice Cube, Flavor Flav, etc).

I will only participate when you can achieve some über units as a free player that outweigh the losses.

Like most of us: I think it was worth it up to #14. I would have continued further if:

1) all the awards were indestructible

and/or

2) if casualty rate was lower (defense buildings and unit buildings were too bloody)*

and/or

3) if I had more days between this event and B4C (not enough time to replace all the lost units)

*ps: how come the casualty rate is the same when you hit:
- high/low level buildings?
- protected or non protected buildings? (ie protected by defense building)
- high or low player defense?
This doesn't make sense to me...

I did not spend gold for this event and won't do it the next time either if this remains the same. So now it's up to Gree to decide rather they want me to spend money on this event the next time... or not! I know many other ways of spending my cash ;-)

Beside that, i think this new event is fun and it's a change... The routine was becoming a bit boring...

Can I kick it?

I know a lot of players have had terrible losses, really didn't see that until level 29 and 30 then I lost a valor unit every 3 hits, oh well I will finish playing at level 16 hero after that it got had to find buildings.

I think as i dropped my allies to just 30 odd and my stats went crazy high ( 25,000 attack my level 78 ) things were not to bad, I spent a about 500 gold and had stamina hits of 32 my spend on gold was way way lowe then the normal wars and this is what i gained:

Im not including the units that arnt indestructible as I lost half of the units won in the same event... lol

So combined I got units worth Attack 4516 and Defence 2408 with 40% re gen bonus and 40% valor

Took 2 days play.

I am also quoting the tank at the smaller figure although I have placed a change of prize to the advertised and promoted one which would add another total 3000 to these figures.

When you look at it like that would you play again.

i can see it being a nice event for people at higher levels with an all gold army , i just pretend it is a 14 level event for the first boost unit , not too bad when you look at it like that , heavy losses on 1 mission but guess it was worth it .
