I guess it would depend on the context.

I wonder why it makes sense to add levels - something people have been wanting - and then 'destroy' the positive effect of new levels by encouraging to complete said levels as fast as possible?

I would think it would make sense to try to capitalize on, if nothing else, the goodwill of new game content... but I am probably missing something.

Super duper bonus prize for getting there in about a month. Now all the heavy-hitters will be level 250 with a new super duper weapon and not just be level 200 with all their current super (but not duper) weapons. Does that change anything for anybody? Have fun (I guess?)

Agree. What good is it if everyone at that level has it? And everyone who got there gradually over time and have gained multiple weapons will be able to mutilate those who got there quickly.

Gives me a target to hit (higher level) giving me more IP during War events :P

No one will be getting that prize without a lot of gold. I'm just glad they're encouraging people to play and level up as opposed to the alternative. Maybe they're learning.

Gree knows exactly how long regeneration takes for stamina and energy. If they put a time limit on anything, it is because no one can do it without gold. The lvl 200, big dog gold spenders will spend to get the new item at lvl 250 and then continue to spend even when they have maxed out levels. If you are as committed to the game as they are, you won't get board because of no more levels and quit. Gree knows this. Even if they can't fix problems, they still know what they are doing and do it well. We all keep spending.

Anyone do the math on how much gold? Roughly 20k exp per level x 50 = 1million exp

I think it will vary for everyone depending on skill point allocation, energy and stamina modifiers, etc. For me, my best guess is 27,000 gold.

Maybe the level cap is 300 and we just don't know it yet? Lol

Does anyone know that plays MW how many dedicated (substitute "dedicated" with whatever you want) actually took the incentive when offered to them. Seems rather pointless except for bragging rights and R pts accumulation for gold spending.

I play MW. I have no idea how many but I know of one player that was at L247 yesterday.

All I read is "you cannot achieve level 250 in that time frame without spending gold" but what if you had enough skill points invested in stamina and energy, wouldn't it be possible to get there w/out gold?
I currently have 105 bullets, and 2900 energy(in hindsight, oops....), and I think it would be possible if I only robbed high exp buildings and used my energy on the highest exp jobs to make it. I currently level every 3rd or 4th day(always regenerating both stamina and energy) and thats just working on TL goals with the bullets. Imagine if I only robbed meat factories, casinos, office buildings, etc. I bet it could be done quite easily.

I agree I'm gonna try it. I sure wish I had tl goals I level every other day as is

u're level 194 and you level up every 3 or 4 days .. lets say, 1 lvl up in 3 days. u have about 34 days .. do the math now hehe

I think the loot spreadsheet has an XP/ 100 energy column. (If it doesn't, it could probably be calculated quickly). Just multiply the number of hours you play on an average day by you recharge rate, and do the calculation ahead of time (plus the amount of energy you wake up with). Do the same, calculating your bullet recharge rate by time played, and multiply that by the average experience you gain per robbery of the buildings you are targeting.

Should be easy to calculate how quickly you could level.

As to the argument about crawlers being stronger, I don't get it. The only other people at 250 are the ones who will race to get there too (at least for a while) and you still have the same opportunity to get the same loot as them, only with more skill points, while you wait for crawlers to level.

Whoever already at level 201 before boss Bernie, noticed the boss tier change?

Well I'm 197 now, but still, my point was if I only focused on getting max exp per bullet then I could make it. Sometimes in a PvP fight you only gain 1 exp, so if I only went after high exp paying buildings instead of PvPing I would average a whole lot more exp per bullet.

I am not noticing any changes above L200...just finished boss 13 in about the same number of hits

35 days left, rough estimates:

stamina 35*24*20+50*100 = 21800 (lv up refill)
energy 35*24*80+50*2000 = 167200(lv up refill)

rob warehouse only: stamina XP: 21800*30=654000
energy XP: 167200/2

XP without gold: 737600, plus other XP income (syndicate war, boss events)

BTW: about 1 million XP at lv 182, lv 250 may not need another million at all...

Comments: stamina is the king, even with the devil's takeover and reduce stamina XP by 50%, energy do not provide that much XP as stamina.

Does anybody know the exact XP ammount for 250 lvl?

Build 20130326_2 says max level = 250, ExpTotal 2,513,850
Lvl 200= 1,346,4300. So 1,149,550 to do. Over 34 days that is 33,810 per day.

Soho, Cigar Bar, will get you the most Exp per Energy. 19* Exp for 36 Energy, that is 0.528 per Energy.
So 2,500 energy will give you 1,319 Exp.

*) 19 Exp without any modifiers. For me it is 20, Therfore 1,388 Exp for 2,500 Energy.

Every 54 secs you have 3 Energy (as Goodfella), so 4,800 Energy a day.

(34 days * 4,800 energy) + (50 levels recharging * 2,500) * 0.528 = 152,105 Exp.
So by robbing and PvP, you will need roughly 1 million points.

Good Luck

Hah, and that's assuming you log back in every 12.5 hours on the dot to reuse your 2500 energy.

Looks like impossible for free, as that means 50-100 XP needed per stamina, or 3-7 vaults of gold.

You'll need about 50 XP per stamina spent, I don't think there exists such a building for you to rob.

I'm going to guess the quite a high percentage of us rarely go 12.5 hours without logging back into the game. So, that's not really the part that's a stretch. It's the 1,000,000 xp needed from PVE/PVP....
