LOL, Some will love this, some will flame...
I was working on a BD run, and of course having to do random raids through the Battle List to build up my gold. So I notice I am starting to get hit by a player and he is taking my gold (I am not one to care about attacks or raids as it is part of the game). However I am super close to having enough gold, so I quickly message him that I am on a BD run, and asked if he could stop attacking me for just a few hours. He responses back that I should have thought of that before I raided him, and kept attacking me. Well finished my BD run (an hour later), and of course I start bringing my allies back up, which increased my stats. I messaged him back, "No worries, I was still able to finish my run, and increased my stats. Now that you are on my News list, please keep the beer cold because I will be visiting often."
Now his kingdom is rubbles for when he longs back on.

So you raid him and nicely ask him to not hit you back because you are on a BD run? Well in my eyes that makes YOU the _____ .

I would have raided the **** out of you, as long as I was stronger. then spend/vault all the money and collect my building.
You could then have your revenge on my cottages :D

I didn't even know I raided him (it was on random List) until he told me. When he first attacked me I thought it was a random person attacking, that is why I asked him to wait. If he had told me he attacked me because I raided him, all would have been cool. But he kept attacking me after we first talked.

No I slapped him (part of the game), he slapped me back (part of the game). I asked for a truce, and he said no and kept on slapping me. THEN I bust a cap in him.

Even if the theme were barbies and tea parties, this would still happen.

Even the "Chests for Sale" artwork would be the same.

Lol. I think you just gave Gree an idea for their next game.

If he takes back what you took from him, nothing wrong there. If he continues to take more after you ask him to let you finish your BD run, then he's asking for a fight. So I see nothing wrong with raiding his kingdom to rubble

I was on a lvl 5 manor run last night and got hit for 240k in 3 hrs, by two diferent people. one is 50k high than me but the other is close to me(both our attacks are higher than eachothers D) I'm going to enjoy raiding his 2 lv7 manor every other day. I'm checking often to see if their up.

You dont need to seek approval sir, im just pulling yer leg here^^
If something is up for moral questioning its not any players fault its the gamedevelopers.(unless its sexist/racist/religion/griefing.. but since you can block players from texting you this is hardly an issue)
To all oneliners though.. this is not a wargame, its a combo-dowhateveryouwant-within the boundries of the setup/rules-kindof-game.
if you wanna pay 30gems changing your name into cookiemonster and spend your energybar on only raiding players bakerys while responding to all griefing with "nom-nom-nom-cookie-nom-nom" or only sacking brothels pretending to be a psycho pr0nstar its all up for grabs.
