Not so far in crime city but it's been similar in Kingdom Age last couple of days - at least for players below level 100. My level 95 account has had fun hitting people 10 or more levels up, lol

Possibly another syndicates side-effect?

I think Gree opened up the brackets to ensure everyone can hit Tom. A change for the better.

MW completely changed their algorithm recently so levels and mafia count don't matter. A level 100 with 15 mafia can, from what I understand, be seen by a L200 with 500 allies. Maybe they're starting to do that, here. Sure, it completely defeats the purpose of having mafia, especially since they show up on the rivals list, anyway and unbalances the game ad strategy of manipulating mafia count...but what's the fun in strategy, anyway?

Maybe they just wanted to create a problem because they fixed all the old problems and had nothing else to do...

In mw from what my rival list is like it's done more on stats within your range. So I can see a larger range or levels and mafia counts but all are around my strength

This has happened to me too. See a guy at 187 and when I go to his profile and hit him he's 197.
