Ok, I have 172 hero strength and a Cupid's Bow (85/130)
How on earth is it even POSSIBLE for me to hit a monster for 195? That seems absurdly low, especially considering 252 is the max I currently remember seeing.
Does anyone know how this is calculated? Or does GREE simply cheat with their own game rules for LTQs?

I have over 100 damage gap , sometimes I can hit 200 and another hit is 330~ .

That's rather...weird...that your damage is less than your base hero strength.

Mobs have a defence score, and Hero Strength is not a straight 1:1 like armour and weapons...best we can tell.

You hero strength is simply a multiplier in the factor of the equation that decides what the value of your hit will be. Basically, just because you have lets say 200 hero strength and a weapon that does 85, doesn't meant you always hit approximately around 285 damage. It's sort of like what you see in others games where an item will say it does 20-300 damage, it can hit anywhere inbetween those two values based on chance. I have seen this equation posted before but don't remember where, if anyone remembers/finds this, post it here or to my FAQ's thread and I'll add it among the Q and A's.

I've posted the equation in the FAQ thread.

All the stats and modifiers in this game mean nothing... they are set to maximize GREEs benefits and the players minimum.
It all comes down to the cash your willing to spend now.
KA is no longer a free game as advertised... unless you freely enjoy getting smashed everyday! :D

Being a free player on KA means you are playing the trial version. You will not advance very far or very fast and have limited potential. The only way to run with the big dogs is to shell out some serious dough. Reminds me its time to make the donuts.

Yes. While I can accept that a gem player is better off in all aspects, I would expect to generally be stronger than other free players who haven't played as long. This is not the case.

Hackers...well, they are the kind of players that aren't welcome and are not part of the free players that are being discussed here.
So, assuming from your comment you are a gem spender and not stronger than free players who haven't been playing long? Doesn't make sense? You must be a tap joy gem spender...that wld make sense.

Exactly! Why wouldn't he be? Unless his long term strategy was not a good one.
