I fear that the problem with the iOS is effecting the drop rates of cases. On two accounts I've done missions and robberies to try abd score a drop and nothing is coming...

Seems like they almost went back to the old ways of obtaining boxes.
it was always a struggle in beginning to get any, had to jobs at the start to get drops. Then after about a day it gets easier to get them through PVP, or robs, once players have some on them.
It's either that or it's glitched, or they really want people to level because of new level cap.

PvE is going to the maps and doing the quests there.

yeah, it seems like PvE is the only place drops are happening. So much for making the majority of my case items on the first day. Well, technically, this is considered the second day on the Battle for Empire city agenda.

40 PVP bouts, bar and a half of energy on missions and still no bullet case...they must be trying to get campers to level or they have the drop rate far to low in my opinion...

I see some players have been fortunate enough to have gotten some cases already, I've blown through 60 PVP bouts and near 3 bars of energy doing missions and still...NOTHING! I don't have time to PVP and do missions for an hour in hopes of getting a case, good luck to all those dedicated enough to continue, I hope they increase the drop rate for you all.

They could change it but currently we have a total of 6 days for this event

yup that strange, for me that sure they change just before this event.. i don't like this event.. to much gold for nothing.. and take to many lvl for drop case... that always a 10/10 progress, sure they change.. that why event don't have start.

Our group has noticed that when your not in a syndicate that the crate drop is around 3-4 per 10 hits. When in syndicate it dropped to 1 per 10 pvp attacks.

You get the cases from doing the jobs (uses energy not stamina) in the different maps and not by attacking/robbing other rivals.

1. I thought everyone knew, but apparently not. Most FC members are called "TYLER DURDEN".
2. The current event is 100% pve. You can get as many crates as you want, if you pay gold to refill energy.
3. Every event will have lots of "Tyler Durdens". It's not a hack, but if you are convinced that it is then go ahead and report. Do not be disappointed when Tylers are not banned. We are gold players, and gold is powerful. If you don't know that yet well, pay attention because its true.

Actually, you can get boxes through PVP - you just have to hit people that have them on hand.

You can steel them from other players. It will become more apparent in the next couple of days.

As for the Tyler Durden, I don't think anyone thinks it's a hack? Or maybe they do. I personally found it very amusing and original :D

I believe you when you say the Tyler Durdens are not hacking the event no one on forums thinks that, they will fill the top 25 regardless of the situation, but this event wasn't advertised as being pvE only.

Yeah, I'm taking this event off as well... spent way too much stamina trying to force boxes to drop and now I'm pushing it on xp to get to my next epic boss tier. I really hope this isn't a regular thing, but my gut tells me otherwise.

The event is 100% PvE? It says on the info page
"Discover Bullet Cases by: Doing any job, successfully attacking a rival, successfully robbing a rival"

And I know most forum posters are aware of FC, but a few new guys clearly aren't, and a LOT of people in game clearly don't read forums.

Just got my first box from robbing a rival, so it appears they may have fixed the issue.
I'm out ofmstamina so can't really investigate further, but I definetly got one case from robbing a collection agency.

I have been having the opposite. I close down with 0 cases and an hour later I have 3. No attacks or anything while I was gone. Very strange.

took nearly 24 hours before I got any cases, when they finally started dropping the first 6 or so were BLNT and after that I started to get crappy prizes. I had a string of bullets and am now at 6 or 7 but i'm not fussed as the prizes are pretty poor this time, no chance i'm spending gold on purpose on this event, I already hit gold open once by mistake but luckily it was a bullet. I'm amazed there's no explosives in the prize list.

Have about 70 bullet casings but every time i try to open its either a blank or a crappy weapon/Respect points.

So far i have opened using cash 18 times and have opened 3 experimental rounds and 9 blanks and 6 times weapons/cash/respect points. This sucks.

Okay, I've been having some weird issues with the cases, and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed anything like this. I currently have 134 cases, which is weird because if I "open" a case (always cash open), if it's a BLNT, it doesn't subtract a case from me (so I'd still have 134 after opening). Any time I have won something (Experimental round/loot prize), it DOES subtract a case.

The other weird thing I noticed, moreso earlier in the event when it was still being really glitchy, was that if I open a case, it will either IMMEDIATELY tell me "Sorry, BLNT," or it will communicate with the server/whatever, give me one of those "loading" type screens (a circle pops up, colors go clockwise around it to denote "loading"), and I'll either get an Experimental round or a loot prize. This has led me to suspect that if I'm in an area with poor service and the game can't communicate with the server, I immediately get the "Sorry, BLNT" screen, and I have an abnormally low number of Experimental rounds at this point compared to all the other case events I've participated in. I know it's possible it could just be "bad luck" or whatever, but it was just a thought.

Edit- just a note, but I've won most of my experimental rounds recently, perhaps after they made some tweaks or something, but I was having extraordinarily bad "luck" the past two days despite opening 20+ cases.

Crates not subtracting for BLNT is intentional. The 'story' is basically that your attempt to open it didn't work, whereas when you get a bullet or a booby prize you have utilised that case.
