So greyed out map spot was Midtown. New Map is Market Place. The Events are weekly and countdown to Market Place. Perhaps they have this figured out since Midtown wasn't supposed to start until April.

Also the rewards are 'cheaper' than Midtown as there are no modifiers for the Top 250 plus.. oh well.. just goes to show you how important it is to win big the first competition.
