I did not get the popup. I was just amazed that the boss started after finishing level 2 of the new LTQ.
Triggered it twice now; I have a hard time triggering it again.

No pop up for it, but did get it to trigger once. Be wary of this, as it's not triggering regularly (at least not yet). And there's no goal for it - so the game isn't counting how many wins you're getting. Wonder if it's a mistake deploying it too early

I think the boss event launch was a mistake, I got 5 of them right away, but always level 1. Now it won't pop, so I am guessing it launched by mistake and Gree fixed that

Yeah, that's correct. No boosts and you'll get 1 health per minute which is why for efficient boss fighting they suggest 3 attacks, then wait a minute, then attack 2 more times.

GL!Agreed have given up even trying on these after blowing 1500 gems twice in a row and getting way too many crap units that I will never use. These random get 8 thing quests with the 0.5% mob are just a load of c***.

Im really struggling, im a low level player (11) and still getting my head around the game.

Does hero armour/weapon help when fighting flynn, or is that just for other players and therefore to help against flynn i need to get troop armour/weapons?

10 gems = half health = 3 hits.

25 gems = mega attack = 4 hits.

The only reason you'd use a mega attack is if you are extremely high level and the gold cost of the normal attack is beyond you. They do get rather expensive up there.

You have been lucky - out of the 13 bosses I have beaten I have received nothing other than the three common units - I knew there was a reason why I don't really bother wioth boss events!

I never really tried that hard with the boss events before because I could usually only get to level 10 with free/gold hits. Now I'm at level 18 and can probably do 1-2 more levels with free/gold hits. I would've been willing to use gems for this event except I am still only 5/9 and needing to get 1 uncommon and 3 rares. Doesn't seem likely I'll get it. The prize for the boss event seems just ok but combining it with the Legacy of Patrickus to get the Lucky Dragon...well that seems like a pretty sweet unit. Oh well =(

I'm finding a lot of the Epic Boss quests to be quite overpowered these days, as I'm only reaching the same sort of levels I was reaching a few months back, when I had a quarter of the attack strength I have now. I know most people have increased their attack and defense characteristics significantly with all of the quests recently, but the prize units on the Epic Boss quests don't reflect the growth increases.

What is really annoying me though is the quest to gather all 9 units together, so (Flynn McFoley) the boss joins you. Currently I am on level 12 with 6 Greedy Harpies and 6 Fabled Barghasts...both fairly weak units...and in turn the Defender you acquire when passing level 10 is only around 130 a/d...still not worth the money spent getting to that stage.

My army is running at about 220k attack and level 12 was managed by just scraping through with a minute to go and the tiniest health bar. Level 13, let alone level 50, is just not possible without spending hundreds of £/$.

This is the only negative I can find in the game at present, otherwise keep up the goodwork.

I've tried posting elsewhere about this, but the board doesn't allow me to start a new thread. I bought gems, which I don't normally do and used 50 of them to defeat Flynn at level 11. Once successful, he died, the game froze. I've received nothing, my gold shows the balance when I bought and started using the gems, but level 11 is not achieved. I'm a bit miffed now, as the gems are dear. The gem level indicates that heave been used! Can anyone advise where I should direct this message, thanks.

That should help. Basically, get stronger or use gems. There comes a point where you will need to spend gems to get further, but it gets higher as your attack gets higher. I'm assuming you meant 141k attack stat, that should get you to at least 18 with 13 free hits.

If you meant attack skill point those are almost irrelevant for boss events, just use your raw attack score with the spreadsheet.

Did you know? You can go up to boss 50 & if you still not getting Flynn, you can send a ticket about it, & Gree will give it to you. It happened to couple people that i knew that they send a ticket & they got what they want. But you have to kill all the way to Boss 50 though. Good Luck Perfuzzle..! I heard some people got it around boss 35 to 45 the latest...

That should help. Basically, get stronger or use gems. There comes a point where you will need to spend gems to get further, but it gets higher as your attack gets higher. I'm assuming you meant 141k attack stat, that should get you to at least 18 with 13 free hits.

If you meant attack skill point those are almost irrelevant for boss events, just use your raw attack score with the spreadsheet.

Im extremely unhappy with this boss event. After 31 bosses, i only received 2 rares of the same type. I remember when i used to get 3-5 rares from 30 bosses on previous boss events. I still need 2 more rares to complete the set and had no luck since boss 18-19 :mad::(

Yeah, I can't believe it. Didn't even know I was so close to wining the unit and then I just got it. KA is my least favorite game of the 4 (MW, CC, MQ, KA) so I don't pay so much attention. But now I'm starting to like it better. This last event has gotten me loads of GREAT units well over 200 in AA and AD stats.
