What happens if the leader deserted a faction he created??

What happens to the members if the leader deserted the faction he created? Does the faction remain intact and the next officer takes care of the faction???

I think, that leadership takes that player, that joined faction first...Not officer, or maybe first officer...

Well I just found out!!! We ranked 3,050 of 4,000 in the last event. I'm getting a lot of invites from other factions, but I can't desert my troops. If only 3 of us can do this, then all we need is more players to join our faction.

Appoint a new leader then leave. I had two accounts in the same faction and did this. So the faction is/was still active.

If the leader goes before appointing another leader then you only have limited control of your faction. You will not be able to purchase any upgrades or kick anyone out.

It used to be like that? But Now when I want to leave it says '' Leadership will be passed on to one of your officers.

So is that your own pointed out officer?

Ok check this out I left my own faction and left it to my wife. She had trouble transferring it to her droid to droid , and when she got it back they did the site maintenance during BFE , and when she woke up it was gone. I'm trying to get it back for a sister faction that I'm in now. But it's not working out. If someone from gree reads this you should know what I'm talking about I hope nobody else has this problem because its quite frustrating
