When GREE release an update, they (Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.) compare the update to their standards. If it doesn't exceed their standards, they don't release it until it is better operating. Amazon happens to have high standards so it will take longer to get the kindle update out on the market. Nothing GREE can do other than wait. Or at least, that was what I read.

So basically I am screwed? It has been this way ever since I made an alt. character on my fire. Only boss events. No crate events. Thankfully, the main events have worked out OK.

Would a sideloaded app work any better from like 1mobile.com?I'm not sure, I haven't tried. You could try transferring your kindle profile to a PC program I use called BlueStacks. But yes, in a sense, you're screwed. Kindle players have it the worse with android players in second and IOS players on top.

I have the same issue and I am using the same device (kindle fire). I've contacted GREE many times and they keep telling me the same thing, update your game even though it is the latest update...

Doesn't look like it, chances seem to have been reduced again. Not even bothering with this event, spent 1500 energy on missions to only get 1 box. At least epic bosses are guaranteed a unit at the end of it. My advice is to save your money for that.

Worst start ever on one of these. One successful cash open since yesterday afternoon. Only one bow. Usually have at least 5-7 items at the point. Either really bad luck or the success rate has been tweaked a bit. Oh well, not spending any gold so keep the "sorries" coming. Doesnt matter. Lol

Did you know that you can send a ticket to support & asking them that you spent lots of gold on the last collect 10 event or leaderboard? By telling them you want your gold back cause you didn't win the 10th unit or top 250 unit. They can be able to help you out & return 30% of what you spent the last time you used gold on this event.

I did it too & told them about my bad luck & refund me 30% of gold that i spent on the last or every collect 10 event. The same on Boss event too. Good Luck Thump3r & everyone who had a hard time getting the 10th unit..!

It is somewhere in the region of 2% for the last one WITH gold, so without is probably less than 1%.
I think the chances decrease about 10% per box open. So 90%,80%,70% and so on. Not exact but near enough

I'm only posting this here because for some reason I can't start a new thread.

This is the second crate event that hasn't worked for me. Last time i just figured I had bad luck but I now I have 2 accounts and I can compare the relative frequence of chest drops so I'm pretty sure it just isn't working.

I'm running the MW ver 3.6.3 build 42 and OS android ver 4.1.2 and I already
reinstalled it which I'm pretty sure does nothing.

Is anyone else having this problem?

In the past I have gotten 10 items and the grand prize 3 times without using gold, however, nowadays I tend to get in the range of 5-8. I think that GREE has tweaked the box event to try to entice people to spend real money. I won't be fooled into spending real money but I imagine plenty of people have been.

Those two things are quite mutually exclusive. You can try low end missions that give a few xp per hit, but the chances of a drop are lower. The drop rate of a box is linked to the percentage of the energy bar used for that one attack.
For example, if you have 100 energy and use 1 (for a single attack), the chance a drop is low. If you use 90 for one attack, the chance will be higher.

Stick to attacking rivals I think.

If i attack rivals with stats one quarter of my own I find I don't lose any units personally although I do have some faction health bonuses and infirmary on L7.

Yeah, but you wont get any good units. Mostly 10/10 units and concrete. Ferr and the pirates usually have about 500 open boxes by the end of the event.

Raiding unit buildings has always shown to cause higher casualties compared to money buildings.

I know, I have dropped allies to gather some money, I have some good units and raiding players with 1,500 to 3,000 defence I have 18,000 attack this is also for two other members of my faction all three of us are now losing top valor units nearly every raid and attack all other members are not, also I have never lost a unit at this level when raiding, I understand at normal levels of course... only started directly after winning the crate prize which gives 20 % extra valor : /

a big problem for us, have re started game, im losing an expert attack drone every single hit and gaining 55 valor points

update...

none of our other players are losing valor units when attacking the shipyards, all of our players that won the Xian Destroyer which gains extra valor with raids now loses valor units in most attacks on shipyards and sometimes on other buildings...

As mentioned we have up to 6 times the attack over the defence of the opponent, as mentioned never lost a unit like this... none of us have.

We spent big money to get these and its bonus is 20% extra on raids.

Anyone else having these problems that have won?

Used nearly 1200 gold after being stuck on artillery shell #9 during the last event and never came up with my 10th box. I felt completely ripped off. I opened probably 40 boxes and nothing. Currently stuck on box #8 in the current event. No gold spent on this one. Sometimes I really wonder why I spend real money for this damn game to begin with. :rolleyes:

I understand that much now. Whats unfortunate is that it shouldn't be that way. I really enjoy this game but it is very disheartening when real $ is seemingly wasted. I got probably 10 concrete, 1500 valor points, and a few mill. All for the low low price of $100. It is what it is I guess...the system is flawed. :mad:

If there is a 2% chance of getting the 10th bow, than according to probability, u will have to play a total of 49 times in order to score a direct hit, 49 times 15 gold for 100% access will cost you 735 gold and if you wait 60 mins in between interval will take you slightly more than 48 hrs to get it done...is that how it is?:confused:

u were right, I opened 11 boxes in a row as we approaches the 11th hr...I got 6 defensive cannon (I now own 51 defensive cannons in my inventory), 2 cash drop at 1.25 mil, brick, and 2 dragon freaking soldiers...330 gold right there

I got all ten bows and I'm almost regretting going for the tenth one. The atk/def numbers are great addition to my inventory. But now I can't raid any one. I'm at around 10k atk and raided someone with less than 2k def, I lost 3 cruisers on each of 3 hits. 9 cruisers gone on one raid. Sure I got a ton of valor but was it really worth it? I don't know

none of our other players are losing valor units when attacking the shipyards, all of our players that won the Xian Destroyer which gains extra valor with raids now loses valor units in most attacks on shipyards and sometimes on other buildings...

As mentioned we have up to 6 times the attack over the defence of the opponent, as mentioned never lost a unit like this... none of us have.

We spent big money to get these and its bonus is 20% extra on raids.

Anyone else having these problems that have won?

too few. Last event I had 40 opening trys in past 48hrs to get the 10th...didnt get it.

A few of my members got this prize including me, we went in early spending around 200 gold resetting the time and cash open day 2 when of the members got the tenth on a normal cash open, one yesterday pushed the wrong button and got it on a free open, I had to drop anther 480 to get it yesterday evening.

the rest of members are stuck on 8 or nine.... I have moaned in the past but the 4 or 5 units put together are surly worth a bit of time to get for free...

last thing all the winners of the prize now lose high level units including valor units when raiding normal buildings and worse of all sea buildings like ship yards... its not a stats thing as we have maybe 6 x better attack over our opponents... we only find this on non money buildings..

@njemt242 its fine if you hit money buildings in raids, we are getting around 4000 valor points a day plus the cash... :)

Same here. Even low level missions are now more losses than gains. I was on the same mission before/after I got the 10th bow and wow! Huge difference. No more missions unless this is addressed- I can't afford it!

Now I was able to get 9 with 1d 20hours to go and i freakin got 10 with 5h 48mins to go i couldn't believe it. i used all cash opens but for my 10th bow i used 30 gold, one to reset timer and one to open and bam i got the prize. thx for the 100

I finally got my 10th bow..I can gurantee its the most extreme..cuz it was my last box and I used cash all the way, I opened the box when the event was almost over...few sec to spare....

with the 20% increase in valor..this is what I found out, if you hit cash building, you get at least 11 valor points almost no casualty, if you hit non cash building you can get anywhere from 22 to 88 valor points and you might loose as many as 3 Sky Agressors...thats one of my best fighters...so is it worth it?

@dloh1970 I thought the same thing, I get between 11 and 50 for level 8 plus on money buildings and up to 100 valour for non cash buildings but with non money buildings I lost high level units.

When i hit any cash buildings i don't lose anything as normal, I have seen a big increase in valor though, I do stay away from the non cash buildings as well.

Please trust me on this cuz im UK and they still do nothing but die all the time just buy frigates and the blue boat if your shipyard isnt leveled up enough to get the hovercraft. Blue ones die a little quick but frigates arent as bad. Some units no matter what the stats are or how "low" their death rate is its all bull****. the valor units like the Avenger and the Super Hornet both say low but die every ****in time dont overbuy a unit till ur sure its worth it.

I got lucky, very happy to get 10 bows! The valor boost is amazing. I got almost 200 valor just for raiding a Level 7 Shipyard!
