Bonus question

We just bought our 4th 5% infantry defence bonus but it didn't change my AD at all, not even 1 point and I have hips of valour and cash (and some gold) infantry units?
Is it normal?

well #1, your attack score isn't going to change. if anything, it'll be ONLY your defense
