It has been over 3 and a half days now iv been stuck on 8 shells and I have tryed over 30-35 time with gold and with money and havnt got anything its doing my head in is anyone else finding it harder than normal for the last few or can anyone shed any light on the situation???

I have spoken with a couple of friends who are looking into this further after my kids were sucked into this gambling no win problem.

Looks like gree are allowing kids over the age of 12 through to adults including me to spend real money gambling on a prize that doesn't happen.

The percentage of winning moves every time after 7 - we opened around 60 gold crates for 0 shells!

Whereas we won 8 or 9 immediately for nothing, i'm sure iTunes and other authorities will have great interest in there business activities.

I myself have an internet publishing company and will be looking at an article based on this activity.

This is a game and Gree do like it when you spend money on gold. If you let your kids play then you make sure if they can spend money or not.

Took me 8k gold to get the last 2. Won't bother next time but its hard to stop once you start, would have probably been better off.....maybe putting it towards the auction style event but then again since MW seems to have a lot more big spenders and you usally require 2-3 times the amount of other games

There's no excuse in not keeping an eye on your kids and not being there for them as a parent.
If they use Your money, it is Your responsibility as a parent.
If they use their own money, it's just one out of many life lessons in responsibility... (it can't be any big amounts can it? if it is, how'd they get it? in any case, lesson for life)

As for GREE, I totally agree they should give a somewhat clear (exact is boring) estimate on one's odds, so one has some basis to make a decision on!

Here's such an estimate for the gold case from me:
Given an open, I've read that the probability to get the 10:th part is like 2% at the higher tiers*. That makes the prob to get 9->10 after N tries:
1-(1-[prob to get])^N or 1-[prob NOT to get]^N or 1-0.98^N
at 20 opens it's 33%, 40 means 55%, 60 means 70%
I understand this is no comfort to you guys (especially the gold players), but hope it at least gives a more clear picture...


*Tiers being ranges of levels, as follows:
Tier 1: lvl1 - 25
Tier 2: lvl26 - 50
Tier 3: lvl51 - 75
Tier 4: lvl76 - 100
Tier 5: lvl101 - 150
Tier 6: lvl151 - 200

I agree when I got two bricks right in a row spending gold....grrr...if they wish for people to spend money, make it at least worth the while or post the percentage rate of win for items so we have more information to make our choices. This crate event is rigged by GREE for rich gold players only.

If you are only using in-game cash to open crates, then you can say goodbye to the spectral warrior.

I have opened more than 50 crates( no joke or exaggeration) and still did not get 9th artillery shell.

There is no promise that if you use gold you will get the prize in 1 of these events!!I used gold to open all of the ammo crates to get the ammo and i had all 10 prizes the first day so I understand where you are coming from. If you want high level units and want a guarantee of getting them buy LE sets.
I have a budget that I set for myself per month to spend on this game because I enjoy it. Does Gree owe me anything....absolutely not. I play because I enjoy the game and chatting with the members of my faction.

Let me tell you the odds for the last 3 shells.
8th is 17%, 9th is 7%, 10th is 2%.
So for the 10th shell, in average, you need 50 attempts to get the shell, less if you are lucky.

After a couple days of no opens on #10, did what Gree wants (bought 1500 gold at full price), and proceeded to time reset and crowbar open. After spending ~1200 gold it finally got the #10 shell & prize.

I have tried almost 12-13 opens a day... Got to 8 within the first 12 hours (yes I used the 50 free gold from gree) and then the next 4.5 days of sorry please try again and a slap in the face with concrete...

I dunno guys, I've been doing these mini games since they started, and as a free player only using the cash option I have actually won at least three in MW and one in KA.

Im no statistician, but it seems to me that these crate events all follow a predictable pattern, but the open crate plus prize percentages are set with varying levels of difficulty.

Day's one and two are when you get the most items, between say 5 and 8. Days 3 and 4 are usually mostly fails and the last day or two will have slightly more prizes just to keep the desperado's interested.

If you look at it like I do, then cash bought invincible units are always cheap, and if you get lucky and get 9 or even 10 event mini prizes well then that's even better.
