App store card (buying gold with it)

Thinking of going out and buying some app store cards to buy some gold. (Dont wanna charge my credit card).

Bu before i go blow money, i need to know if it works that way. Ive never bought these cards before so i thought id ask here if anyone uses this method.

If anyone can give me some info on it id appreciate it.

iTunes cards are great. You just buy, scratch off the back for the code. Go to the AppStore,scroll down to the bottom where it says redeem codes. Input and you got it. As simple as it can get

If your talking about ITunes cards then it works just fine. Get the card. Scratch silver bar off back to see the code. Log into App Store and go to bottom of screen. Hit redeem button and load the code. Simple as that.

Yeah it works perfectly, basically, u buy the card, enter the code into iTunes or the AppStore app, and it credits your account with the money, then when you go and buy some gold in game it just deducts the amount from that credit.

If your lucky you might be able to find the vouchers on offer for say a £25 voucher for £20 or whatever and save yourself some money, and if you combine discounted vouchers with a gold sale you'll save even more!!

Great question, I've been wondering this myself. I've used App Store cards before but was wondering if the regular ones also work. Also wondering if the rules are different in Canada.

Just make sure you destroy them after you redeem, so your significant other doesn't find out....;)

I don't think it matters. Apple still get the money either way!!

True but there was a time when Canadians couldn't buy apps with gift cards because of some digital trade laws involving taxation. So you had to use a credit card, I suspect the issue has since been rectified but I don't know for sure because of the existence of "App store" gift cards.

Ok so i bought a card followed the instructions and when i went into the game to buy the gold it tells me i have insufficient funds. Am i doing something wrong to where it wont recognize that i have credit on my itunes account?

For instance, if you bought $100 card. And your trying to buy $99.99 vault of gold. I don't know where or how it works where you live but for me , I still have to pay taxes on top of it, so it'd come out slightly over 100. OR the game just doesn't recognize you got it yet

Also. You might want to wait for a gold sale. 20% off is usually offered from time to time. Perhaps maybe around the time of Egypt they will offer some sort of sale.

I got 50.00. So maybe thats why? I plan on gettin 50.00 more before Egypt. I think ill try to buy 2 20.00 ones and make sure this is working properly. I know they usually have a sale around WD events.

One of the best things you can buy if not the best thing is the composites factory. Upgrade it to lvl 10 and you got 20% boost to all defense units.

Composite factory yes indeed bought a vault in brazil got that and 2 3packs of the crates rest was used getting the A-2 stiletto. Sweet

This is cracking me up, since right around Sunday of Greenland I fired up the paper shredder and fed some scratched cards in....then immediately took the trash out. That is too funny....birds of a feather, I guess!
