Loot items what's the purpose?

Can anyone answer this? I get the weapons, armor and units, but what about the other loot? Why bother?

Yes. they're our bling. or flair. whatever you want to call it. a notch on our belt. it shows you've completed certain quests.

Tip : spend less time on pointless loot items and more time testing updates/replying to support tickets :)

I feel like people have been asking this question a lot more frequently lately. I must have answered about 3 or more of these in the past 2 weeks.
Yeah the loot is nothing but a quest item usually used as a collection of items to obtain before moving on to the next part in the quest. Very little effort is put into making these items as they tend to use the same animations over and over again so they don't really waste any time making them. People have suggested the idea of collecting the more important ones into a trophy case idea though.

I have Filthy Pelt loot. That one has 3 defense. I wonder if it counts as an extra armor on top of my shiny Relic Plate...

They can be an indicator of approximately where a rival is on regular quests (if that matters at all.)

No, they don't. I have like 62 of those filthy pets. And they dont add anything to my defense stas. I believe it's because I have other superior armors for my units.

Don't stress about the pointlessness of the loot items, they only show what you have completed and the bling is what they give in use after events...however, feel free to jump on the bandwagon of useless honour points. Do something GREE! It's
like buying a car with parts on it that do nothing.
