So are most of the crate items obsolete now?

With the advent of these new items for sale via in-game money and RP, are the commons and uncommons in the crates now obsolete? Along with that, are half of the event items (mostly in boss events I suppose) suffering from the same fate?

They are still better than the items you can buy directly with gold. They are only obsolete to players that have high enough stats for them not to make a difference.

Or are you talking about old crates you collected that had crappy stats to begin with. Yeah those are obsolete

The common armor in the crates is (slightly) trumped by the best armor you can purchase with in-game money. So unless the new event items are all near 100/100. It would almost not be worth it to compete in the events.

shrug, you still have to get the better items. If you wanted to max out on RP items you're talking about 10s of millions of RP. If you somehow got 10K RP a day you'd still spend 7 years maxing out.

The money stuff OTOH..that's doable in a year.

The latest leader board events bottom prize (5 necklace) was a 102 Att / 118 Def item.

It's all going up recently, inflation.
