Updating CC Bluestack

Probably a really stupid question, but how do you update a bluestacks version of CC?

Open Bluestacks, Go to App Stores, open 1Mobile app store, search for crime city. If there is a new version you should be able to choose update instead of open.

I originally installed from Amazon store, and couldn't update. Replaced the app with the 1Mobile store version, and presto, updateable.

Another useful trick - if you get the version that's in 'GetJar' you get an old version with the old style tapjoy offers, instead of the new ones. Made ~100 gold in a few days. This version also runs much faster. The downside is you don't get scratchers and forget about syndicates. So I used the old version for a while, then went back to the most recent version.

Not sure where my other post went... Maybe double post. When I installed CC on bluestacks I had also installed "System App". Once CC was there the google play store was also there. Open it from within System App. Now you can have the newest version. Play Store shows up as a service, but it can be opened.

For a dataset, same thing as a smartphone or apple product. Just wait ingame for the prompt to restart your game.

For a game upgrade, you should have android market pre-installed. Just open that and go to your updates. Then click update and wait. If not, like others said, download the newest using the bluestacks market.

Hopefully someone can answer this about bluestacks.. How the hell can I zoom in and out? I've tried Ctrl +, Ctrl -, and every other alt, ctrl, shift combination out there with no luck..

I was looking into installing bluestacks and it looks like pinch zoom is available in the beta version. It looks like a review said it works with mouse trackpads. I think they are talking about something like this Logitech Touch Mouse T620 (http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/touch-mouse-t620?wt.mc_id=global_redirect_news_t620&crid=7) I could be wrong though.

I use a mouse with a scroll-wheel. If you have one too, use the CTRL key, with wheel up and down to zoom in and out.

Ctrl- and Ctrl+ as well. Twas a godsend to have stumbled upon that.

edit:... well, they work for me.

Please be aware that you need to use the + en - on the left of your backspace key and not the ones on your numeric keyboards :)
