What's the highest you think a free faction ranked in BfB or BfG?

I know of at least 1 that was in the top 100 might have even been the top 50.

Is there any large entirely free factions?

Over a 4 day war i believe a completely free faction with 100% participation could score a bit over 3million points assuming they had the capacity upgrades to hold 50+ players. That would place them in the top 40 or so. Seeing as donations have little to do with gold spending, it's quite possible someone has done this or someone will do this.

Well come to think of it, depending on the level of the faction they could score more and probably break the top 25 if they were all low leveled. Low levels vs level 180-200 were scoring over 400 points and getting close to 500.

FREE factions like my old one HAS NO chance of making it to the top 25 its sad really as they should categorise the gold spenders away from the free players

Well, based on our BFG performance, I did the math and had we had a full 54 members we have capacity for and not only 14, and played more battles than we actually did, theoretically we could have reached Top25 without using a single Gold bar. It would have been a long sleepless 4 days, but not impossible. But then again, we have wifes and GFs to please besides GREE :D :D
