It varies from a few gems to 20 gems a day when it's available and once you reach the daily limit you have to wait 24 hours before trying again.

Where exactly is the option to watch videos for free gems? I have tapjoy installed on my phone but the offers I see are mainly apps, buy something, etc.

false , i purchase gems so many times , and i have that option , just made 20 gems by watching Movies yesterday .
buying gems is not the prob ,

I've never bought gems, and don't see this option. All I've seen are the first time gem buyer sales.

I've got the tapjoy option at the bottom of the gem buying screen, but there are never any videos to watch. Mostly just credit score and auto insurance sign ups.

I've got the insurance sign up on the iPad and the videos on the iPhone. So I dont get gems on the iPad.

When do the Gems you get usually show up in your account because I have watched many adds and don't see any in my account yet?

Try closing the app and reopen it. It worked for me.

Edit: Got them when I closed out of the gem sale window. Don't close before you get to 20 because you can't get back in the window. I got to 18 when I closed and tried to get back in and it won't let me back in. Will try again tomorrow.

Collect a 100 more and buy a Gold Mine? With guilds and associated contributions, that can have a very good multiplication effect

Or play them in boss event - you can have some nice units for a lesser "price" than the LE items.

I've been reluctantly using them in boss events with the plan to get a gold mine at 400 but just wanting to make sure it's the right choice. Thanks for your input!

use them on boss events , dont waste them on a gold mine , u can raid to make money but u cant get the units from boss events

After you guys clicked "tap here to earn gems" did you have to "sign up for tapjoy" first to see these videos, or are the videos offers listed right there along with the sign up for insurance options?

I have to sign up for Tapjoy for free Gold on my Modern War account but on my Kingdom Age I have the free videos option. I use an iPad if that makes a difference. Some people have it the other way...videos on MW and tapjoy on KA. Im not sure what makes the difference.

I had the videos for while, the they disappeared. Until the last upgrade, I had a "check out the latest offers on Tapjoy" or something like that in KA that would take me out to the Tapjoy website and give me one gem. No I don't have anything that gives me 1 gem for simple things :/

Finally it works, i got 20 gems yesterday and they class me as Moderate spender but i will take them....its free and i could always use more...nothing to loose

But I can download a lot of apps/games for gems.
Can anyone tell me if I just can delete them immediately after download or has that any consequences?

open them once then delete them, that got me my gems. Sadly, those run out after a while :/

I was able to get about 10-12 free gems a day from videos and visiting TapJoy, but they took most of those away. Now I only get about 2-3 a day from quick links. The rest I have to install and run an app. Looks like they changed something with this latest upgrade. :(

Any idea why KA is no longer listed on my apps page when I log onto the Tapjoy website.

It used to be.

Loads of other cr@p but no KA
