I might be incorrect, but I think you have to do the mini hero quests before this one triggers, if you have not done so already. I have another camper account that is low level and the boss event didn't show up until I finished the mini-quest one first.

1 crushing hill giant (infantry) 95/131.

As I'm over level 100, very unlikely I will get all 9 since I now avoid spending gems on anything with odds in this game. After the last LTQ (not counting the current mini-LTQ in only 3 parts), I won't be spending any gems on LTQ's any more if they're half as expensive as that one. But I'll spend some gold on this. Especially since they first "Beat the Boss x # of Times" part is for only 5. Hoping there will be prizes for 5, 10, 15, 20, etc though I'd probably only get to 15 if the prize was worth spending the few gems it would cost me. :)

ETA: Defeat Gorglesh 5 times = Gorglesh's slave (infantry) 65/85
Defeat him 10 times = next quest

I'm on boss 8 and am 5/9 so not bad. Using only free attacks so far. I'm finally getting the hang of these boss events. This is only my second one. Does anyone know how many bosses on average you can defeat using only free or gold attacks? I'm just trying to get an idea of when I would need to start using gems and if its worth it depending on what unit I might get for it. Thanks!

I got off to a bad start on this one, just 2/9 at kill 12...but like Geiteke, I got Gorglesh on kill #23. This makes me 3 for 4 on the 9/9 events. I got the Keeper of the Herd on kill #29 and the worm on kill #30. Only got 8/9 on Gokstand. I usually stop at kill #30 on these events...keep thinking I should of went to 31. Oh well.

See...now I think Gree's just playing with me. Used gems, killed boss 25, got my last uncommon. Now two more rare to go.

I'm debating what I should do at this point. Level 97, so don't think I will be able to do the next boss event unless I'm part of a guild that has the health regen bonus already or coming up on it.

But I have minimum gems right now, though can beat boss 26 and 27 with them. So...should I go for the LTQ? May be my last chance for a LONG time.......

EDIT: Well, going for the gold. Next boss down and got a needed rare! One left. So here's to good luck continuing.... :)

No trick. But your attack needs to triple to get far at all. There are several threads in here that talk about boss events, and if you look at stats on people and how far they got, you'll have some idea of where you should be (or should have been) to get much further.

right now I'm level 97 with hitting the boss 210k or so per hit and had to use gems on boss 25.

Absolutely has to do with that. In fact, you're only bringing 408 units to battle, when you could be bringing 1500. :)

The cyclops was the last one I needed too. I usually only go to 30 on these events, so if you do as well...I'd say you have a great chance. If you have 8/9 by around level 20...it's been my experience that you'll get the last one by or at 30.

I'm not going for this cause i have a feeling after the last 2 days of boss event, mostly common units will always show up. I think its better to get it done the first 2 days of the boss event & have a chance to finish it in up to Boss 13 only. I heard couple people got it done on 13 boss only. I rather save my gems for the future Guild war event. I heard the top 10 unit prize either 10k A/D or less...

Gambit, I'm with you on this one. My gems, even my gold, are better spent elsewhere, namely a guild once I'm in one. Plus I have defeated Gorglesh 11 times and have ZERO rares. If I were only missing 1 rare, and 1-2 others, I'd try.

I was missing the Enraged Cyclops and the Cave Moss Spider for a while, but then got them back to back in the 24th and 25th beatdowns. Curious how this is a small obscure game that's casually played on a phone, and yet it manages to provide this overwhelming feeling of success and accomplishment when winning an event like this. Such a buzz...

Had to use gems from fight 19 on, but only spent 170 total. A fair price for a 5K unit ;)

Now going for at least the fight 30 prize... Wish there was a trading system, I could've handed off an extra spidey that I have to Echus.

I hate these events. Gree gets up your hope by giving you all but one then screws you out of your money. Needed cyclops from 18 on and beat 25 after many gems. Makes me wanna delete the app.

I've only needed that elusive cyclops since lvl 18 also. Just finished lvl 33 and he still eludes me! Good luck if you keep going. If not, there will always be more bosses to chase.

I've decided to stop on this one and leave boss 50 because I won't have the time now to do with out using gems for every hit! If there was another 24hours I would of done. Boss 45 cost 40 gems with 13 free hits first!

Same here DC, but I called it quits at Level 31 (extended one more level and got ... another Forestwalker Druid (roll-eyes)). Really getting too expensive to keep trying for that last uncommon (the spider) for which I must have killed around 9-10 bosses. Ah well, undoubtedly the stat inflation will offer reasonable alternative units in time to come and at least there were some intermediate prizes along the way.
