I just thought we had time. I knew anniversary building was limited so I worked hard to get two quickly.. I had no clue artic rig was limited or I would have saved for it. Why can't they slap a limited sign on it like the limited editions. So very annoyed.

My LLP never got a rig and yes it is gone. There definitely should be something in game that says they are "limited time only".

Everyone who is able to get these new ones better act fast. If it follows the same trend they will be gone in two weeks when battle for Egypt is over.

I agree wholeheartedly. It's stupid things like this that make me frustrated with the game. I even started making space on my base for the other buildings, only to see they are gone. How hard is it to program a "limited" sign into the code?

After I noticed the mining rig in the store I sent a ticket to Gree with the request to cancel the purchases because I really wanted to buy the mining rig.
I'm still waiting on a reply from Gree but in the meantime the rig is gone!!!!!

Let's hope they will reply in time and see if I can get the villa.

I think the only buildings worth having now are oil rigs, nanos and refineries. The new ones really take away the purpose of having many other buildings. Stat inflation is good for the people that can afford it.

I don't think it is a shame, at all. I think it's great to have challenges, such as these limited edition buildings, that everyone can partake in. Say you get attacked and lose $5 million. Isn't there a cap or something on how much you can be attacked in a day? Like, after attacking a player x amt of times, it says, "player can't fight"? This allows my attacks & raids more purpose, and, too, I have initiative to complete more valor missions.

And I only had 16k defense when I got the AMR, but I did sell 50 million worth of buildings. For the Villa, I managed to get to 107 million before selling a few buildings to make the difference...didn't get attacked once. But even if you do get attacked once, it gives you another two hours to safely get the money because you can't be attacked again.

You can hit "refresh" for the rival list till your target reappears. Doesn't take long.

You can also ask the person to give you a break. I've multi-attacked over-vaulted players, and will continue to do so to the same players, unless they politely ask me if they can have a chance to save.

Yes, it'll disappear after the Raid on Egypt is over, which is about 12 days.
Also, what is your IPH? Since you already have 90 million saved up, you
should easily be able to grab the last 30 million or so.

dam, i should check the forums and store more often. Just started upgrading my AC to lvl 3 a few days ago. I have 44m saved so I should be able to get x2 of this building without too much worry. raking in 17.2m every 2 days from just 2 artic rigs is nice(:

The majority of players with limited edition buildings aren't in the "can afford" bracket, if you're measuring IPH. They are hunters and they take money from others at a faster rate than the "can afford" person can save.

errrr...all of the limited buildings i have are earned from my base......
I tend to get robbed at around the 70-80m mark...once i have been robbed once.....i start selling my other buildings.
I usually start doing this the minute i have been hit.

i had to sell both of my oil rigs for my last villa...level 5 and 6 rigs off memory...or 6 and 7....forgot...

It's my opinion that these buildings have drastically changed the game. My two anniversary buildings, two arctic mining rigs and two Alexandria Villas account for more than half of my 1.2 million iph. Not that at I'm complaining; it certainly makes it easier to collect large amounts of cash all at once and therefore give higher upgrades to buildings like the oil rigs and nanotech facilities. But the new vault limits are certainly a result of the large cash output from these "superbuildings". Tough to get them though, until one passes the plateau of making more money in a day than rivals can raid. I usually have to sell a lot of my more expensive money buildings in order to purchase them. Barely made it to two villas before the event was over.

Im one of the many raiders that own these buildings. With the new higher level vaults im now relying more on IPH than raiding for each one. People just dont overvault like they used too sadly :(

The difference between me and you is... I DIDNT sell anything, nor did I have to either.

Never had to even think about it before and I doubt I have to in the future.

whatever works for you I guess. now all you have to do is rebuy everything, TWICE.
