VFF Charlie is making a stand.
This will be a 3 day event for us. Our LAST battle just ended. We are not spending anymore gold to make a run at the top #25. We will be content knowing that we played the game the way it should be. If that means that we end up in 40th instead of 30th, oh well! We can take another day to rebuild our armies before another event begins.

If anyone wants to join us in this endeavor feel free.

It looks like Ranger's LLP's is doing the same, and just finished our last battle in Greenland.

We are safely in the top 100, and unless 60 teams all loose their minds and/or or rob a bank, it doesn't matter if we place 40th or 99th.

I echo my Ranger LLP brethren and state we are standing down. We enjoyed our battles but it is time to rejoin the civilian world.

Special thanks and well wishes go out to all the factions we faced in our undefeated run... We take nothing personal and enjoyed our time spent battling you all.

Finally, to all the hackers... Question... Is it really worth being morally bankrupt for a fictitious prize? You guys are missing the best prize .... Working together with a group of strangers and having fun in the process. I know even if we placed dead last, Rangers LLP would still be the crazy and fun group we are now.

We would have stopped yesterday, but I didn't see this until this morning. Everyone with me is reluctant to try and rebuild their lost units. They will probably begin unit farming on the docks.

I would expect that if you are in the running of a prize, it would be ok to break cease fire and maintain your current position. This would be acceptable. Me I am smack dab in the middle of 1000 and 4000. There really isnt maintaining for me. I have nothing but time. For the high ranking factions, between 3 and 100 could be in jeopardy, breaking cease fire would be acceptable. I think we could all agree. You guys spent money to get there.

I see. Either one of my in-active players pushed the button or it auto-declared in the past ten minutes, but I have been watching to let them either uphold a cease fire or attack. Well they attacked and scored points right at the ten minute mark. These are times I wish I could speak with the other faction via a faction battle forum.

Damn. the cease fire was actually becoming kinda fun. Video game drama.
