Stealth Frigate - Where did you go?

I've been putting all of my recent valor over the last few months into purchasing the Stealth Frigate's (sea valor unit) and it looks like GREE has NERF'ed them so you can no longer buy them.

This is my official complaint!

I'd say it's not a mistake, just a move to force people to level faster so that they can afford the super expensive new valor units they rolled out. The Stealth Frigate was too cost effective, so they nerfed it.

Can't try it myself to confirm since I don't own any.

If you own them and try to buy them from your inventory it now says that it is a loot item, and unavailable for purchase.

wow there are a ton of brand new cash and valor units. time to start upgrading unit buildings again

unfortunately the new valor units are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. i'll never be able to replace them with such a high cost. 7,200 valor for one unit?! thats almost 400 fights worth of valor for a single unit!! better release a ton more valor missions

not only did the take it from the store, but it seems to me they nerfed the casualty rate.

i have 600 stealth frigates and never lost them (always lose PVE loot or EAD's), then suddenly since they disappear from the store I'm losing 2 at a time!

wow! way to ruin people's strategies! i put 200k valor into them because of low casualty and then they go change it on me

Casualty rate is the same (at least between last dataset and the current). I checked yesterday.

I'm not happy about this at all. Like someone else said, they were extremely cost effective.
These new valor units are way over priced.
What I don't get is that they kept the elite ops fighter (100/65) at 1,500 valor, but units with ~80-90 stats cost 5 times that! (Well I guess if u can unlock the EOF you deserve a cheap unit....but still.)

I would have been super pissed if they took all of my stealth frigates away! I had 170 of them, which is 48,000 valor. However, now there's an easy choice to buy valor units, all the ones you get from battle point ranks.

I had chilled out doing any valor missions since lvl 76(now @ lvl 91), did about 70 pvp attacks last nite & amassed a lil more than 3500 valor, its fun searching for players who quit playing & have very low stats now..haven't lost 1 stealth frigate yet...also glad I got that 5000 valor scratcher on my llp a few days ago cuz that's all I bought...RIP

If the field officer dies 1/10th as much as the hardened marine, I would!
I am not buying a single new unit I see their consumption rates.

The difference is that you can buy the Field Officer at any rank ... you have to be Sergeant to get the Hardened Marine.

Nice one GREEd. I switched to Britain for nothing. My strategy has been based on Stealth Frigates, due to the low casualties.This was the only thing that made raiding players a viable source of income.
I'm not gonna spend hrs scouting for a measely 300k $, if I have to lose expensive units with every attack. Guess the idea is having me switch to Russia and start over...

You are in a wormhole. The year is 2011. The presidential campaign has just finished its first year. GREE is currently doing due diligence as Funzio sneakily convinces them they are worth hundreds of millions. :-)

The Stealth Frigate has been a mess from the very beginning of the game when it only cost 175 valour and had the stats it has now. They realized they messed up the stats and dropped the attack and defence but kept the cost. This caused a forum uproar so they gave players that asked for a refund a refund!

Then after a bit of time they boosted the stats back up but raised the cost to where it is now.

But some of us didn't know about this refund so we kept what we had. So then the devs changed the loss rates quietly and we lost these units in droves.

Have to wonder if there is some connection to this previous history and their sudden removal now.
