The in-game info says: "Also, unsuccessful power attacks against the Defense Leader will take away 50 Shield Points."
In practice they are only taking away 40 points, so 2 unsuccessful power attacks have the same impact as using 4 regular hits each with the same players ... Meaning 2 extra hits are needed. Essentially, the power attacks are useless in this context.
Please look into having this corrected so the unsuccessful power hits actually take away the 50 shield points they are supposed to remove.
