Update a few days before the event.. it now runs from 11AM Friday to Noon on Tuesday.. 5 days.. again

Maybe if everyone looked at this in a slightly different manner instead of making this event the most important thing in his/her life then 5 days wouldn't seem so unreasonable. No one ever said you had to stay glued to your phone or tablet and battle for 24 hours a day for 5 days...now did they?

Why not plan a few battles during your off hours and quit trying to rack up 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 WD points. It's an app people. Go ride a bike, go to the gym, go to work, spend time with family, spend time with friends, read a book, watch tv, go see a movie. There are a million other things in life more important than this game. In the grand scheme of REAL life this game and more importantly this event means nothing.

Why not enjoy life instead of being bound to a stupid game for 4 days non-stop. If you do participate why not do it in moderation?!? Losing sleep or missing out on real life simply doesn't make sense to me.

wow....5 days again?!!! Screws fort numbers up and everything. Now debating sitting it out. Our group was 101st before the work week started during Brazil. This just shattered my hopes.

Edit: wait...mine still says 3 days.....

That thread likely was deleted too. Just like when they ADVERTISED there would be top contributor awards and then "casually" decided it wasn't in their best interest and deleted the evidence. :)
