The whole purpose of gems was "originally" to offset time.
If you didn't have time or couldn't be bothered to complete the task. Then you could buy your way out.

Now it seems to be a game of who is the richest fleece.

The current LTQ isn't really that different than auction events. Different format sure, but same concept.

Gems still offset time. You just need to buy a lot of time, Mr. Timberlake.

I have to agree. It's either you are strong enough to surpass all or rich enough so that you can have all. Tricky but very realistic.

Hate to say it...but contrary to popular belief, the best things in life are NOT free. Better always costs. Love may be free, but the accessories will run you into the ground. Puppies may be free, but you gotta' spend some cash to keep Fluffly alive. The park on the corner with the rustly slide and a decaying bum in the sandbox is free to visit, but your gonna' need to take out a loan to go to Disney Land. Point is...There are good things for free, but better costs.

AIR!...air is still free...you can have free air...
...unless you need to put it into a tire at a gas station...

Umm you would never have to take out a loan to go to Disney Land.. It's reasonably cheap to get into there. You must have gotten ripped off when you went lol
