When u join a syndicate you donate money and bricks for the betterment if your syndicates bonuses. Hope this helped ✌

That did, thank you. I see they spend the money and i assume bricks as well on upgrades. Do the upgrades apply to everyone in the group then? Also how do you get more bricks?

First of all, in a syndicate, you donate money and bricks to your syndicate. Then the leader uses the money to buy bonuses that affect ALL members in the syndicate. The bricks are used for fortifications which help during the Syndicate wars. You get bricks randomoly from PVP.
