What is the purpose of hideout

I had upgraded to the max level and wondering what is the purposes and why need to purchase so many hideout?

Anyone knows the answer?

If it's like modern war then you will lose one hideout per fight you engage in during the battle for the city, also other syndicates will be able to attack your hideout during a fight and if destroyed they will double their points

So, if you automatically lose one, where is the value in upgrading them?

You'll need a lot or you won't be able to fight, and upgraded ones are harder to destroy, upgraded ones also are used first until you just have normal ones left, again this is just my guess as that's the way it worked in modern war

oh that's cool i have 1 level 10 and 5 level 4
