Barracks the Dragon destroyer

Man raiding those barracks for the quest is costly.Even raiding a guy 150K under my attack I sometimes loose 2 dragons. Crazy. Least the unit made up for the losses

I lost from 1 to 3 dragons per barrack, I'm only 400 rivals more to kill and i hope my losses will come down to cero again, i have to breed 75 dragons at least, I'm guessing 1 million gold to replenish my dragons

Easily replaced. I, too, have lost nearly ~40+ in total during these shenanigans.

suppose they're targeting Dragons then, cuz i barely lose units when raiding barracks, or in any pvp battle for that matter. Just sometimes a flaming trebuchet. FYI my BD is only on 6 atm, going for 7 when people'll stop hitting me for this event :)

It's the only unit that many of us have that are destructible. Soooo...the deaths are inevitable. Lol.

Like you say easily replacae. Just seems silly that a pointless building has such a destructive defence.

Just looked it up. The level 10 Barracks has an in game defense score of 100 (starting at 10 for level 1 and adds that incrementally for each level).

The Manors are actually still under that. 30 for level 1, 60 for level 2 and 90 for level 3. I'm using a Manor as a reference point for many since that's typically what they see for high value raid targets.

A level 4 Cannon Tower has a defense score of 88. (22 per level). That 88 (or any defense score from defense buildings) is essentially added to the surrounding buildings (or a multiple of that to avoid debate). Thus many players have encompassed their Castle + high value income buildings (Manors, Lenders, etc) with these Cannon Towers or any combination of defense buildings. But, one distinct kingdom organization that many have in common is that their Barracks is located within that vicinity. Thus the added defense to a Barracks.

I lost about 90 all up. Luck of the draw I guess... The difference in attack/defence may have a bearing but only a little

Well I checked my place and my barracks are within the reach of two of my towers.Agree with all of what you said, I raided a few buildings like a manor or two on same kingdom as I took out a barracks and casualty rate wasnt as high.

I lost 100 dragons as well, it's amazing that so many people have lvl 10 barracks
