Map bosses

I've been targeting two bosses trying to trigger a specail loot item and I've gotten nothing is it still passable to get the good ones. The fist one I'm targeting is Helen Morgan in bio weapon map but all I got from her is two savage cruisers and like ten elite water crusers (colonel loot item ) I'm getting mad

I got an Orbital Hammer about three months ago, which is one of the rare drops. 18 hours later, I lost it while raiding someone. Then last week, I got one of those Commando Commanders, another really good rare drop. It lasted 4 days, and then I lost it on a raid. I won the raids, by the way. I hope you have better luck with those (once you get them) than I have had. Oh, and I got an EWC off of Helen Morgan, too. Might as well have been a grunt or a concrete block.
