good stuff indeed but I remember reading an mxz post in the new data set thread (http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?45321-New-Dataset&p=585098&viewfull=1#post585098) saying that the odds of opening an item on this event new dataset were way more tough than usual. If it's correct I assume reaching item#10 will be really tough...

Bricks in CC are the equivalent of concrete blocks in MW, they are "guild currency" members of factions donate to build fortifications for the faction (aka syndicate) events.

*Edit: I manually collected a brick pile that dropped in another attack, altho the image looks like three bricks, the floating text when you touch the graphic to collect says "+1 brick"

Congrats Isshi! You didn't have the same error msgs most of us are getting. Wow getting prize 10 in less than 1 hour into event... You're the cause for the Gree systems to collapse! They can't take all that spending in 1 hour!!!:rolleyes::p:cool:

Crazy, my fastest collect event ever with the best collect award ever. I got the car with all cash opens with 3 days to spare. I ran into 2 or 3 BLNTs in a row once and a cash open, but the rest of the time was usually a painting.

Normally i would agree and think that is true for most. However i have been extremely lucky the last 2 events. I have gotten the ninth and tenth part within five openings after getting the eighth. I'm hoping for similar experience this time. If I get so lucky again, I will be posting a pic of my new discreet getaway car within the next 5 hours. :)

I have 8/10 on my second account, if I make it to 10/10 with only cash opens then I may switch devices and purchase Goodfella status for that account instead. It is catching up to my main account anyway--they are in the same tier: LV86 v LV99. I still wonder if the level at the start of the event is factored into the success rate?

Either I'm extremely lucky or something, but I managed to score the 10th painting moments ago. Got 1 fail and a security baton after the 9th and expecting to see another big fat fail or some crappy item (considering the final necessary item has 2% chance of appearing), I get this screen.

Hmm....after blowing through all my gold on the last collect 10 event and ending up at 9, I decided to go cash only for this event. Surprisingly, I had unbelievable luck and got 8 on my first day, then 9 a day later. I've been stuck there since. While a 1315/989 item would be great, the modifier is meh and I'm not interested in wasting my gold on this type of event again.

I heard people spent vaults of gold but didn't get the 10th item, so it must be very lucky to open the 10th item even with gold.
And even with gold it is not a guarantee, it is just a better chance.

I know 2 people on the MW side that spent 3 vaults on a collect 10 and never got the 10th. That same event I spent 400 gold and got it. So yes... Luck. No guarantees.

The app crash mostly because entering a new hood loads up considerable amount of memory, and if you don't have enough memory for that, your app crashes

you should never hold back opening the crates if you do then you are not likely to get the final item. open them whenever you can.

I received my 9th painting yesterday. All cash opens. This isnt your typical "I was on 9 for three days!" post. I was completely satisfied with 7 and number 9 was a bonus. I will keep opening every hour (except at night) and keep my fingers crossed.

You got it to waste then its up to you! I know people who got it using cash open only - the odds are the same even using gold but you can re set and open more of them! I used around 800 gold on the last event to get the evidence blaster and i know other people who spent around the same - however on the event to obtain the devils takedown i used gold to open 48 boxes and didnt get it - i was a little pissed to say the least!!

Personally i'd say your gold would be better spent on buying sets of crates if you are going to buy a vault then you would get more stat value for your money!

Ultimately the choice is yours - Let me know how you do and what you end up with!
