Problem initiating boss??

So I havent been able to draw any boss encounters. I thought maybe I shoul just keep trying, but this wasn't successful even after about 50 various actions. In the previous arctic chest challenge I was only able to "bank" 1 of the 12 chests I won. Does anyone know something about this problem, or anybody experiencing the same issue?

For what its worth I play using a 4s...tried updating iOS, even deleted and reinstalled the app. Now I'm lost.

Have you tried rebooting your phone? (power off/on)

We have a guy in our faction having the same problem, and seems like he has tried most everything as well.
