Allies showing as rivals

I have at least 20 instances where my allies are showing on my rivals list. Probably a lot more, but I recognize that many are on my rivals list as well as allies. I'm also able to attack my allies and have done so unknowingly. I don't know if they are able to attack me back or if they get unable to attack ally when they try to visit my base. Either way it is most unfortunate I can attack my allies.
First picture is from my rivals list. Notice the buildings can be attacked and rivals profile button present.

Second picture is from my allies list. Same player, same buildings, same everything, but notice the friends profile is now present. Also +1000 for visiting allies.

I think this is a common problem I've tried visiting allies and then checked to see if they are still on my rivals list and so far all that I've visited as allies have not re-appeared. Could be I'm too impatient and they will show up again but to those of you I attacked..... Sorry....

Same thing has been happening to me but I'm an ass and have been attacking them anyway (will stop...just wanted to see if I could and if any would respond).

This happens when their ally list becomes corrupted on the Gree server. The only way to really fix the problem is to have support delete their ally list but you also have to go through your ally list to delete them. Then you add each other back. Or you could just go and raid those tasty money buildings.....
