Don't worry about the splash screen. Just make sure it's in your Goal's list and attack away!

Thanks Guys! Without you I wouldn't have known about the new explosives nor Boss events. Wonder if we'll have a PVP event at same time. No splash screens, notifications. Like the explosives....the Boss awards are pretty ho hum!

I'm sitting at 57 now. Before I was getting 2/5 drop rate now it's 1 per 20 it seems

Way to easy to lose and will hinder you in a boss event when you do lose them after you get higher level and then your attack stats go in reverse.

Just an observation. Have fun getting them if that's what you like to do.

I am 160 k attack and I was attacking someone with 40 k and 4 pigskins. I attacked until I couldnt anymore and they didn't even lose 1.

No because when you go into battle, your highest stat items get used. So your high attack/defense explosives would be used up first.

I'm at level 74, and don't want to level out of my current tier, unless the prize is really awesome I'm not going to touch this with a bargepole.

On the plus side, it means that I won't get wound up when some noob tries to blind attack and wipes them out bit by bit,

PvP event will likely end the same time the boss event does.

Extending the logic just a bit expect announcement of the rewards for achievement in the PvP (top 10, top 25, reward for exceeding some number of PvP wins, etc) sometime around noon today (West Coast USA time)

Caution, PvP wins achieved before announcement of PvP event don't count toward PvP event prizes

You attack other players and there is a chance that the explosive will drop. It's a consumable though, so can be lost. I have 17 atm, and i'm hoping that people my level will be put off from attacking me as my defense is pretty high.

I know how you feel. I have 8k attack on my camper account and lost one when I beat someone with 800 defense. That only happened once though.

Same deal as usual guys - these are 100% consumable. If you use them in the stat calculations at all - they will be consumed :(

I'm losing them because they're being used in the def stat calculations ;) I'm not complaining, just saying that since hitting level 200 these things are worthless to me, and my stats aren't that bad. I usually can get up to 7 or 8 before they're all wiped out from one big dog wiping them all out.

I'm wondering...I picked up 20 something of these to help with the boss event. I would normally be able to get to around level 30, but now I'll comfortably get to 40 without even using 13 hits.

The extra stats is great while it lasts, but now I'm wondering if I've screwed up my attack/defense goals, where you get rewards for crossing different A/D targets after the goal appears. I'm fine with losing the respect points you win, but my impression is you also get some fancy weapons for reaching high attack/defense values. I currently have 37k A and 45k D (the value on the profile page is even higher since I have extra mafia) so does this mean I've lost the chance of getting those weapons?

No, those goals exist but I'm not sure what goal needs to be completed. I think you need to complete some goal to unlock those but I'm not sure which ones yet myself. I still haven't completed those goals because they still have yet to appear to me as well. They are still open to you, but they are unlocked later by completing other goals.

Yes. The game doesn't take awards away. When you achieve it, it's yours.

Yes, that I've already observed. What I was worried about is, since I have 37k attack already, the goals for crossing different attack values between 19k and 37k never get triggered. Then at some point way down the road the goal (for the next one after 37k) gets triggered. And meanwhile I don't get any fancy item you get for attack scores in the high 20k's to mid 30k's, since I crossed those while there was no active goal.

Drop rate really took a dive this morning. More bombs are being consumed than gained - be forewarned. I had 90 at level 150 last night. It's morning after an hour of pvp with the gains and losses I have 85.

There has never been a single leader board for any PvP event during the event. The only time there was ever a list posted was for the Black Widow shotgun event. Everything is just speculation - just the way GREE likes it for their gold sales.

To answer your other question - the drop rates on those are a mystery. I can't give any insight onto those :(

Rewards are:
Golden Grenade Launcher (60/40), 28.000 atk.
Golden Gatling Gun (40/60), 36.000 def.

Both weapons are guns, you'll only get the grenade launcher after getting the gatling gun.

Stats aren't impressive, but still a nice goal I obtained a while back.

Your henchman threw the football at your rival to win the fight.

Because they are consumable items. If they were taken into battle and make up a part of the max number of items carried, they will be consumed. Unless you are attacking someone with much, much lower stats than you, you can count on losing them in battle.
