It means you get 1 more valor then usually from raids. You should always get 2 or more from each raid

respect is a crime city term, pretty much the equivalent of valor here on MW

the bonus will not work if you already have another unit that gives you plus 1 valor from raids. programmers havent figured out how to write a code to add 1+1+1+1 (i have 4 "+1" units, but only get +1)
