I have to agree here, even tho I have a lv. 17 camper. I can't expect to compete in events w/o leveling.
Anyhow, does anyone have a list of the units/equipment & their stats? Also, as mentioned, is it Standard & Hero, or just standard (I'm guessing the latter given the timeframe). Is this TQ worth leveling over if you're below lv. 100?

Have to agree with Winstrol , honestly level 12 ! Build a bridge and get over it ! Welcome to the real world , get to 25 at least and participate in the real fun! Level like a champion! At current 35/40 once you hit 30 strap yourself in for some hard hitting! Hope everyone has Good Hero stats ! You will need it

@Domw001, unfortunately mate, new players to KA that want to camp are going to have to sacrifice the LTQE for the camping strategy. I did a write up on this a few weeks ago. These LTQE have changed the way KA is played. If you want to compete with the high end players...forget it, you are already too far behind. Unless you have a stack of money to blow. Free players will never be able to compete with the big gem spending high lvl players now...no matter how much you camp to pump up ur IPH.

Camping will still work for free and low grade gem spenders but not for those competing at low lvls for long periods to go to the top.

Look on the bright side, you'll save yourself a lot of money and you'll build yourself a nice little kick butt kingdom in the lower lvls.

Once again I´m facing problems. Same as last event: I can´t proceed as the Frozen Dragon does not appear in Clearbrook. Also I lost over 5.000 A/D points.

Usually that problems disappears after a while but it just costs me 1 day I can´t go on with the quest :-(

Up to 38 now and getting a bit hard on the hit part of it ! Was low on energy and levelled up so back to square only it didn't last long ! Got some good units though! Worth it for my NEW budget !

I blindly wasted 500 gems on the last quest, hoping for the chimera, to no avail.

Low level players have Hero Strength probably in the 'teens and twenties. And, energy that's probably <500. If they were given the opportunity...they'd cry foul. Again.

Are you trying to stay in the lower levels for any other reason than obtaining a BD10 early on?

Truly, play free and just obtain as much as you can. The units that are better than dragons are worth it.

Yeah, it'll be challenging but it does come down to what you feel is appropriate for your goals. :)

Introducing LTQ in the game the strategy changes and for the campers & for lower level players because the boss event is connected with ltq,so that it is no longer a strategy for the campers, camping is not worth it.It worth to camp just for the money buildings to upgrade them for later when you reach higher levels and you have to buy manors & BD.

Agree Winstrol.... Seriously people, if you don't like it then uninstall. Did you forget people make apps/games to make money? So they have to make it challenging to make you consider spending some money, yet also allowing you to get some items for free. Kind of like a drug dealer giving you your first hit free. (I don't know anything abou that.). I'm by no means a heavy gem spender nor a light gem spender. I have bought them only when on sale and when I found extra cash on an iTunes GC sale. I play free on these events as far as I can go cause they're indestructible units and I upgrade buildings along the way to get my IPH and A/D up and have some dragons eventually. It's not that hard. (Well it is, but I know what the game is and accept it the way it is)

It's a marginal difference for you to level up to play these LTQs. It's only level 20 (or L10 in auction events.). It's not like people will now raid the crap out of you now.

Yeah, it'll be challenging but it does come down to what you feel is appropriate for your goals. :)

That last phrase is exactly what makes this game strategy so interesting. There is something for everyone whether you spend money or not, whether your level is high or low. But you'll only enjoy it if you don't envy what others have and you don't e.g. High level, gem spender etc.

you need a lot more than that for the last 5 levels, hit requires about 100-150+ energy, get some gems Gems ready. at least this event will only cost me less than handful with change not mountains for nothing !

I just finished quest 28, the combination of the heroic armor and weapon with 200 hs now are really making a difference, I still think a hs between 225 and 250 would do it, the other good thing is that I only need 1400 exp to get to the next lvl, that means 1670 instant energy.

The reason you are not hitting for ~251 is because of the enemies' defense rating.

Because the ~251 is a maximum amount, (using nicsonolgy's HS). You have a range from your maximum amount to a minimum amount of damage you can do. This range increases by 1 for every point you put into HS. When you attack, a damage amount within that range is generated randomly. Then the enemy's defensive modifer is thrown into the mix to give you a total damage done.

This is why sometimes you attack for a lot and sometimes you attack for a little and why sometimes you have to blow 90 energy to deal 1 damage to some schmuck you already hit ten times...

To everyone who has been compiling the lists, on this or other event, thank you very much. They come in real handy. Sometimes I just can't figure out where a certain item is. Seeing at least the stats narrows it down between units and weapons/armor. Makes the search so much easier.

I'm going to keep playing Free until maybe the last 6 hours. I just realized that in addition to the $3k (real life) that I'm throwing at my Z for maintenance and upgrades, my bike needs a tune-up & new wheels and my daily driver needs an oil change in less than 2 months. Soooo...I may spend $20 for Gems. But, the big Gem purchases are definitely on hold. :-/ Sucks, but such is life.

To any and all low-level players complaining they can't begin the quest: (Yes, this is quite the dead horse, but I thought I'd add one final comment that I don't see expressed often, if at all)

I gained over 24,000 XP from start to finish, with a robust hero strength and killer hero armor & weapon. It would probably cause you to gain at least twice that and a fortune in gems as well to complete the event, so your "camper" would suddenly shoot up 20 or 30 levels in the process as well. And if you're willing to shoot up that much, why are you still camping when there are great LTQ events happening!?

I seriously doubt it. The final mob (Shadow Queen) has around 6,000 hp. At 176 energy per hit, that's one hit every 59 minutes, provided you attack the moment your energy crosses 176. With an average attack of 150 damage, it would take you about 40 straight hours of attacking to finish her off alone, nevermind clearing quests 33-39.

Euchus, seems like the armour and weapons go up an alternating point within each 'group' of armour or group of weapons to make going for them them worthwhile on an incremental basis. That's going off the likelihood that they're all usable by each class, and as opposed to only one within each set being good for your class, so you go for that one then call it quits.

I started playing this game about two weeks ago and this quest has been the best fun so far. I think that I started the quest at a level below 20 with maybe hero strength 12 or 13. I am up to level 24 out of 40 in the quest, raised my level to 26, hero strength 18, earned so much gold that I cannot spend it fast enough on upgrades, buildings, and expansions (because the clock is so slow and the vault takes so long to increase in size ...), and doubled the size of my army so I could get back at the people who had been attacking and invading me without stop. Addicting game, one might say, but great fun. One last thought, for what it is worth: camping is something one does outdoors.

The Brisingamen is different that all other types of armor. It's an amulet. While it makes sense that plate armors are best suited for warriors, leathers for rogues, and robes for mages due to the nature of what each class does, anyone can wear an amulet without it hindering them like plate mail would hinder a mage (by being too heavy) and a rogue (by being too noisy) or robes would hinder a warrior (by being absolutely worthless against a guy trying to turn you into a pin cushion for his sword.)

Also, I won't be able to finish this quest, but I'm glad I got far enough to get Shadow Warrior Twins:

2 choices..maybe...choice 1) use Gems you will need it for the last 3 anyway unless your Hero strength is great
2) stay awake for the next 21.5 hours going hard core ...sleep all weekend !
but given that Hero regenerates full after 5 hours you are gunna only get just over 4 refills...not enough rememebr last units is 6,000 strong plus hit damage !

I just started 34 also and think ill call it quits here. The cost of energy is just too great for the amount of damage I'm doing. If this were a quest to get another unit I might push on to complete it but its just not worth the experience gain for another piece of armor.

Once you've got your dragon army, you begin to realize that getting killer IPH doesn't mean anything anymore because a) you've already bought all the dragons you need, and even if you didn't, b) having a full dragon army is like having an ATM card that's accepted everywhere. Sure, there might be some fees involved, but you can make withdrawals 24/7.

I'd say it's nigh impossible to finish the quest for free considering how tough the final few steps always are. I've never seen anyone finish without gems. I'm a free player, too, but I use gems every so often, but they are gems I earned through Tapjoy. I just finished 35 and will be starting 36 when I get some more energy.

I will not finish this quest either but I am now on number 36 of 40 as a free player hoping to make 37 by the end of play

This quest I don't think can be done as a free player without serious hero strength but the last couple have being possible with a bit of luck in levelling up at the right time and playing a lot.

So yes some of these quests are possible as a free player. If I were you invest in getting your hero strength as high as possible

It's worth it because, even though you can't get the top prize, there are still some great units and prizes to be had along the way. In comparison, it would be like going to dinner and being told you have a twelve course meal ahead of you with a great dessert at the end. Would you pass up the first eleven courses and go home hungry if you knew you wouldn't be able to finish all twelve courses? No, you would eat as far into it as you could.

Basically, the people who don't compete in these LTQs are making themselves more vulnerable. While they may not be getting weaker, everyone else around them is getting stronger.

Congrats Q-ball & i got it too but wasted 560 gems. My worst gems spending so far cause i'm in low allies & its to hard to kill the last 3 boss...

Congrats Gambit and Qball. Those 560 gems didn't go to waste either Gambit. Definitely got a better stat gain there than what crates or LEs would have given. Low allies shouldn't matter in LTQs too, just your Hero Strength and Hero Equipment.
