That was a little harsh. A few of my guys have asked about it, too. The way prizes seem to be in flux around here, almost anything's possible (although I told my guys I'd be shocked if a top 42 grand prize suddenly arrived!).

It is very important. If the popup is not true, it is false advertising.

I'm on this forum constantly & somehow I missed the other thread, too. Thank you for the link, NakedCherryPie. It seemed as though the thread didn't really have any answers, just speculation -- but REALISTICALLY, for those of us who devour every word CJ54 posts, the sticky thread with the prize preview has the updated information about this event's prizes.

The splash-screen's an error, but before everyone starts crying foul & demanding something extra for the top 42 teams - consider that the information is true, but not complete. The top 42 teams, as well as many other teams will be receiving grand prizes. There are different tiers, but they are still among the best ever seen in MW. The top 43-100 teams will be awarded the same prize as the tier 26-42 grand prize winners, and spectacular prizes will also be awarded to teams 101-1,000 and 1,001-5000, and maybe 5,001-10,000 (depending upon which source you believe). All subject to change & whimsy.
